After 8 months out of the water, finally got my fix of saltwater last week at LOB Tioman - nothing but diving from morning til night! Loved it...

Viz was ok, from 5-15m, temperature around 28 degrees which is cooler than normal. nice blue waters.

I'll show you a more complete video later. The only filter I use is the Polar red filter. That turtle video was taken without one (we were trying to see what the video looks like without any filter).

did u use lights & the anti-fog inserts?

QUOTE(munkeyflo @ Apr 14 2014, 04:07 PM)
Maybe not for your first dive, but once you are comfortable in the sea, go ahead. Remember to hook it somewhere to your BCD and not lose it.
I used to use G15 with Ikelite. Now I'm using it with Fantasea and I'm loving the Fantasea housing. biggrin.gif
The moisture detector and double oring was very attractive for the price I paid. Plus I love how all the buttons have labels and I have access to even the front dial easily and zoom easily compared to Ikelite.

Let me know what her name is when you add her onto LYN fb group. biggrin.gif

u mean not during the OW course? or my first dive after the OW course
I'm still thinking how to mount it to myself so I can be handsfree

Nola I just took the camera for its first dive.. one at a time sweat.gif

With/without the polar red filter

Demo of the auto white balance problem.. watch how the video turns blue as I point the camera at the anemone for a few seconds.

wow massive difference with and without the filter, so I guess it's really important to capture nice colours underwater

maybe can use Protune mode to tackle the white balance issue? hmm.gif
