Use your annual leave. Just say it is for personal reasons.
It is still the truth and they can't force you to explain what personal reasons, hence the meaning of "personal" is illustrated. |

just like mavik said, use your annual leave and give the reason to do your personal work. But if regularly do that then your employer will suspicious you are finding others job.

tell ur boss u're attending this new job interview. he'll fire u straight away, but then u are free to attend the interview anytime u want.

The most honourable way is to use Annual Leaves. However, if the company is bad then an MC is in order.
