We just ran a 45 min Furmark burn-in test with Illegear Z5. We've got maximum temperature of 66 degree Celsius on Nvidia GTX 860M with Dual-heatpipe, dual-vent and duat fan cooling system. Impressive isn't it? http://www.illegear.com/products/illegear-z5/

ILLEGEAR Z5 internal thermal management. Let's see how the beast stays cold at only 66 degree Celsius maximum in 1080p Furmark burn-in test.

*
Z5
More GPU VRAM: 4GB
Has one subwoofer, better speakers
More stylish
Dual fan, dual vents, dual pipe: Cooling is about 8 to 10 degree Celsius lower than RE-15 EVO (it doesn't mean RE-15 EVO cooling is bad, 75C is considered very good too)
Lighter, slimmer

RE-15 EVO
More expandability (3 ram slots, 2 SATA slots + 1 mSATA slot)
Some extra features (with Soundblaster Cinema etc)
It has DVD rom (Z5 doesn't have DVD rom)

Appreciate the info.
The z5 has better cooling performance while
the RE-15 has more capability for expansion.

Z5 use Intel chipset while RE-15 is built on Clevo W355SSQ
How does the these 2 chipset compare?

No. Both models use Intel HM87 chipset, the W355SSQ is motherboard model name.

I see. I am shopping for a performance i7 machine, none of the U processor.
The cost is high so I might wait for next round of promotion discounts.
Definitely this year before Govt-Serve-Tax.

Thanks!

Wow. Congrats on Illegear on producing their own OEM in the Z5!

Will recommend this to all my friends who are looking for a gaming rig.
