i'm not talking about screwdriver

i mean when installing the drive, should i use any of the provided dampers or screw to secure the drive, or just sliding it into the slots is enough

Any guide on how I should stick the damper and where I should screw?

I have a genuine question (since this is a thread for all Illegear users anyway)
Do you folks use any cloth / fabric in between the screen and the keyboard? I know Illegear laptops don't come with anything with default (I clean the screen because of the lines that appears often after closing the lid)
Any users want to kindly share?

Just wondering what was the outcome for the case above? I 've faced a similar issue on my RX-17 and already sent in for check yesterday, got an email today that it will be sent to Clevo for further checks. Any eta on this?

Did enquire support but no replies on the eta. I do some photography work on the side so need an estimate when can I get it fix or alternatively I 'll source a backup comp for myself.

On a side note, I do have to commend your team for being fast and responsive! *cough* although there was the thing about you guys not wanting me to come up to your empire office yesterday  due to a media event *cough*! And met me in the lobby to collect instead. Nevertheless, the rx 17 has been a smooth running beast since I bought it a year ago.... Untill the beeping and death of it couple days ago! Hope it gets fix soon!

Was firing up a game (not a very gpu taxing game - jagged alliance flashback) and just clicked options when the whole thing went down. That being said I noticed it being warmer and the fan louder than usual a week before it died. Initially thought it just needed servicing to clean out dust but probably a sign of sorts If it helps!

Rolled back to 344.75, can overclock but didn't really solve the random slowdowns :/

Seriously this isn't some hardware problem or what is it? I refuse to accept the fact that I spent 6k+ on this machine with GTX 980m only to find that it can't even run Dota 2 smoothly at 60fps lol

Dont get that with main rig n laptop.

But really annoying that steam syncs the gpu settings.

Also witcher has issues with ulmb.

Ultra low motion blur.

Vsync disabled. Since its a singld 970m oddly enough havent really seen any tearing that i would on desktop.
