i just got my new Z7, but there is already an issue with the keyboard, particularly the space bar. i have to press it very hard in order for it to work. typing this post is like writing a very angry letter with me slamming my space bar all the time.

I know this really isn't specific about illegear, but I was on you site trying to custom my laptop,
i'm not that tech savy but I notice there's 2 for ssd option,SATA and M.2,what is M.2,is it an ssd on its own?,so if I have M.2 I don't need SATA? or is it an upgrade by having SATA and M.2 together things perform better?

I just want to know what i'm missing or getting with M.2?

Can this brand laptop be configured with auto power on (after complete shutdown) whenever external power is detected?

My specific usage is like this: I use the laptop with 99% of the time lid closed, using external monitor and other external accessories. I moved the laptop between 2 fixed point - home and office. It will be extremely annoying if i need to everytime open the lid just to press the power button, and closed it back. I am looking for a method to power on the laptop without having to open the lid. The laptop shall not be in sleep or hibernate mode.

Thank you.

Hi The hidden face,

If you want to configure your laptop with full SSD, M.2 SSD alone is fine.

This can be tweaked and ILLEGEAR has done it before.
