QUOTE(nitehawk @ Dec 15 2015, 05:56 PM) I worried about slow transfer rate with external blu-ray drive especially when burning movies. Hi nitehawk,If external drive, which make/model would you recommend? You can choose the BD writer that can compatible with USB 3.0. We suggest ASUS External Blu-ray Writer SBW-06D2X-U |

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Dec 16 2015, 01:39 PM) If and only if I can fork out that RM999. Illegear did do Z5 Haswell with 970 price at RM4999 now versus Skylake 960 price at RM4599. I guess 960M should be quite overkill for online games. (seldom play offline game plus might just need a bit or so of CAD and Solidworks) |

DOTA 2 reborn requirement is getting higher. So... you should really think again. If GTX 965m I think is still can handle most of the game quite sometime. But 960m I dont think so. |

QUOTE(celdric @ Dec 17 2015, 07:46 PM) Yes, definitely, exactly and obviously. Performance wise, Skylake over Haswell is neglect-able. Skylake is good in efficiency and power saving only. Skylake bring a long of advantages on ultrabook and tablet for more battery life. When comes to gaming notebook, they are they same. You won't benefit from Skylake compare with Hawell. And you will never want to game on battery. |

Ah... another....Don't ever try to removed battery or unplug while full in Today's Lithium battery. The only way to protect Lithium battery is to let it fully charged all the time and don't ever use until it empty. |
