QUOTE(bageraz @ Jan 15 2015, 02:46 AM) hello ladies and gentlemen. newbies here. My previous magician is in Jln Ng Song Teik, also authorized seller of ELF. Been with him since 1997 until I moved out. Often will still go back let him molest my cars if time fits. By the name of HITECH ENTERPRISE, very well qualified magician, also have PDT(Plotong Diagnostic Tools) compatible equipment for electronic fuel injection tuning matters. I wouldn't know whether he can handle an AMT cause I don't have 1. You may wanna drop by and have a look at that place. Tauke by the name of Ah Kit. Walk in from the entrance, the lot is on your right.wanna ask for any recommended mechanic shop for spare parts and repairs in ipoh area. i want to angkat 1 savvy amt probably next month. already had eyes for savvy since the 1st release and hopefully can get 1 for myself. thanks in advance https://www.google.com.my/maps/@4.608789,10...nhOjVmQ!2e0 Ah Kit Mobile: Maxis2 - Five67 Five26Five My suggestion, do not buy an AMT since you have no confident in it, unless NRU fler can advise you accordingly. NOX input on this is highly appreciated. |

QUOTE(h0pefree @ Jan 16 2015, 03:28 PM) I think our fellow friend refer to TDC sensor. The speed sensor shaft is "CHAP" on the yellow gear as shown on my previous piktar. Then the gear is attached to the output shaft. 1 alloy, 1 plastic Magnetic speed sensor aka TDC sensor. That one has magnet tip. |

QUOTE(JmQFmM8879 @ Jan 23 2015, 10:43 AM) Morning Savvy owners, 1) I suspect your alternator got problem, or the belt has been ridden. If you're familiar with engine stuff, pop the hood and check whether the belts are in place.Would like to ask you questions regarding savvy 2005 MT that we have. On Wednesday, while driving to market, savvy suddenly broke down. The engine stopped while i was driving in 2 gear. Everything was on, the AC, the lights, the radio; but somehow the engine didn't start although I tried many times to start it again. It finally started when my bro came to the rescue with a jumper. The first time it was on, around 10-15 mins, the RPM started rising until 3000, and I didnt even accelerate, it was in neutral position. So i turned the engine off -out of panic and confused- and it didnt start again until the 2nd time with jumper. Thurs morning, I tried to start it again, but it didnt start. So we thought it was the battery (battery last change at 03/2013), and decided to change it. This morning, while waiting for battery to be changed, I started the engine, and it worked fine. I turned the engine off since the rider already arrived to change, so we change it anyway. We asked him to check the alternator, and he said it was ok. So after changing the battery, the engine started right away after the first try. But the engine started to accelerate by itself again in neutral gear until 4000 rpm, again we turned the engine off, and when tried to start it again, it won't start. Have you savvy-owners experienced this before? What is wrong ya? Would appreciate if anyone can shed a light with this problem. Thank you in advance. 2) Throttlebody butterfly flap out of alignment/throttle position sensor out of alignment/throttlebody controller motor damaged. Can't do nothing, send it to Renautech to further diagnose with their Renault diagnostic tool. I strongly urge you to send to well known Shawie repairer for the diagnostic. I do not know the exact circumstances when your car kenot setat. How does the engine sounds like? Whether the fuel injector is overflowing? Whether the alternator is charging? Whether the charge wire has been beaten by mouse? Whether is there any short circuit? Whether your radiator fan relay is dead, causing lost current after engine shut down. Many more possibilities. QUOTE(s@ni @ Jan 23 2015, 10:49 AM) Thanks for bringing in a lost soul |

QUOTE(JmQFmM8879 @ Jan 23 2015, 11:20 AM) Thank you David for your fast reply. My guess, your next bill at Renautech will be as below:1) we changed the timing belt around October 2014 at renautech (as per your recommendation). As far as alternator, the guy who changed the battery said there's no problem. He tested when the engine is on, and he unplug one of the battery plug, and the engine was still running so he said alternator is fine. I dont know bout this, just want to give you further info. 2) we just change the engine oil this Monday (19/01/2015) also at renautech. 3) Fuel injector was overflowed (i think, because I can smell gasoline), but maybe because the car accelerated by itself until 4000 rpm. 4) engine sounded normal until of course it started to accelerate by itself. 5) probably short circuit bcoz of the jumper thingy? i dont know, gonna send savvy to renautech tomorrow. 6) One more info, the fan was running when I put the key in and turn it to ON (engine not started though). And when I started the engine, and turned it off, the fan still running until couple of minutes. Could it be the chip or something? Again, thanks in advance. 1) Throttlebody cleaning RM20 2) Computer tuning/reset RM50 If the above does not settle your problem, then 3) Throttlebody replacement RM250 (or new unit RM400) Good luck |

QUOTE(fixgd @ Feb 3 2015, 07:52 PM) 1 side. Got 3 place for me to choose, Renotek, nestum, Dengkil. All 3 also out of my way as I'm working in Seremban. If any of the best choice, it will be @nestum place coz he's in Jalan Ipoh which is very near to my house. And now, peak season pre-CNY many car got rosak no rosak people also sent for "repair". Anything related to car will be in good business as you can see kedai abang sell accessories none stop night and day people queuing up to pay to decorate their cars. The tag line is marvelous: "Ini raya Cina, beli spotlight baru ada diskaun, boleh balik kampung showoff sikit! Mari beli sebelum GST!"U know my style la. I don't like rush things unless the car totally berakdown stranded by the road side |

QUOTE(iskazulka @ Feb 25 2015, 08:47 AM) do you realized the 'teet' sound when click 'ON'? well, 10 years, should be the end of the line for the fuel pump. Shawie sound proof is 473%(don't ask me how I get the statistic, I plug it from thin air) better than GaGa. So, the "tit" sound couldn't be heard most of the time. Even if we shut the door, stop breathing for awhile and switch the key to ON, all we can hear is "Uuuutt" but that's it dun play play with wira wor. it's mitsubishi LANEVO 3 wor. |
