Tom's Auto Part. Look for Cina tauke Ah Peng, tell him the red savvy ambank fler rekomen jiu. Tell him about my price, u sendiri pandai pandai negotiate labor, get the Malay abam big size fella do your suspension work, not the tambi(but he's good at engine works in my opinion).

QUOTE(NOX @ Jan 9 2015, 08:10 AM)
HDEO ma.. you sure it does not clean up the engine?  cool2.gif
*
HDEO function is NOT meant for cleaning engine. The detergent inside is meant to prevent acidity created by high heat that degrades the oil form. If your engine inside was dirty, the engine oil has very little to do with cleaning it up, because the amount of detergent inside is meant to clean the amount of oil inside but that's all. However, testimonial that we've seen all over the internet, those are the cases that the engine already built sludge, over the long run the detergent DID helps to dissolve some of them. And yes, even HDEO you're not recommended to over use it as it's currently deterring all your old stuff in the engine laugh.gif Unless until you've use it several years, after took out the engine and find inside is perfectly cleaned and running optimal(without compression/pressure leaks), and yes you can abuse it due to high detergent, say 15000km? brows.gif

Btw! Found my car on street view!!! laugh.gif

NOX appreciated if can give full testimonial on your OCI from beginning until now. for my own reference.
inb4 davidke20 already stated before.
just my curiosity, IF the engine bay already cleaned like NOX case, what colour of EO should be? i know that if when drive we feel 'berat', the EO really need to be changed, as i experienced it with riding EX5. i know that like Quazacolt said cannot justify by the colour of the EO because after put new EO after drain old EO, still will be mixed with 0.01% old oil, unless do flushing.
but like davidke20 said in saga thread last time, we can argue about EO until judgement day and still will not resolved. to me, i'll absorb it all because all of them is not wrong.
i haven't until know watched inside engine so i'm curious about mine. my testimonial is using passenger car EO from may 2011 (shell helix) until recently change to other EO (last time Rock Oil and currently PC)
*
Old oil gets oxdized, so it turned belak. Veli da normal nod.gif NOX engine gets cleaned as in no more sludge, doesn't mean the engine oil will not change belak nod.gif SImple as that. We've currently ventured into heavy duty CJ/CL grade of diesel engine oil. No 1 say it can be used on Petrol engine, but in the nutshell we know diesel engine doesn't reve beyond 5krpm usually. So, as a pandai sendiri consumer, we shall refrain from lenjaning the kar despite the so name is "heavy duty". Ayam sure there will be things that made particularly for Petrol engines, whilst diesel engine will be made differently. When we the pandai sendiri consumer wanted to make use of the benefit from HDEO, we'll have to pandai sendiri know what to avoid lar. Inb4, many motosikal pakei RIMULA R4X laugh.gif

*
Thanks to Quazacolt, now I finally understand how things work. I only understand what I need to understand, but I don't know how to share with you. May be after you watch this video, you'll get a hold on why there's special lubricants for race cars, normal petrol engines, compatible for both petrol and diesel, and special formula for heavy duty diesel engines. I believe, if you lenjan with HDEO you not only can't keep the engine clean, you'll probably build even more sludge than the cheapjing mineral oil with 0 detergent.

Pricing wise, u do the math lar. Ayam up for R4X.

BTW @davidke20 my ac have this sweaty smell coming from it everytime open ac. I just clean ac filter but I think it might be coming from somewhere else. Ideas?

Never had this before just recent weeks only.

Cooling coil start acting up liao. Might have bocor. Alternatively, take off all your coil mat/carpet and check, could be door lining deteriorate causes rain water flood in, so you're actually smelling your own smelly feet. The aircon recycle air intake is located right beneath the aircond blower, so it will suck whatever smell from your passenger side carpet.

My recommendation is, after you make sure the car is dry, go kedai arang buy a few pieces of charcoal plonk at all 4 side of the seats foot area. Try to open turn off recycle air vent during hot day(not morning high moisture air or night time after rainy day or will drag more moisture to your cooling coil). After a week, can remove the arange and plonk lemon. If you must put it on dashboard, make sure you put it on a porcelain plate. If not the lemon juice will kill your plastics laugh.gif Good for rust removal, also can degrade plastic.

Good luck in trying

mine started to reject too maybe because of gearbox gigi haus by the koyak driveshaft boot b4.

Mine no reject yet. The reject thing is the synchromesh start to kaput. Get it change gear oil and hope can drag longer abit before it fully die off. Can be fix in Renau Tech, price wouldn't be cheap. Could touch a thousand. U stay in East Malaysia rite?

Hello David Sifu
Today while parking the car, alternating between first gear and reverse gear to straightened into the lot. I could not engage into first gear again. I turned off everything and went for 30 minutes walk, letting the engine to cool off. Again I could not engage into first gear and have to move off from the lot on second gear. Question is the clutch
going to die and how much to do a clutch job ( for a Manual Car ) ? Thank you.
*
Renau Tech Subang USJ 1
Renault original RM550 + service tax

https://www.google.com.my/maps/place/Renau+...5d586557657f9fe

Better get them check 1st. Could be other thing. If clutch cover, all other gears also very hard to engage, not only 1st.

how much did u pay to service aircond?
mine i think time to service liao

Normaly cleaning and change gas for Plotong Shawie/GaGa BLM/FL/FLX are between 200~400(due to tedious job as need to dismantle dashboard to gain access to receiver dryer(cooling coil), that should include with the condensor(filter) and if need be change the thermostat control valve together(since already opened up), already slaughter ciken, don't kiamsiap on the kicap.

Other things not included if cooling coil bocor, paiping, condenser coil bocor, suis suis, wayaring, kompressor...etc. If full set overhaul, could touch up to RM1,700(not full set original brand new, talking about mixture of cap ayam replacement part and or include 2nd hand compressor).

Side impact, consider the car is holding in good shape since it's a 4wheel drive crashed into it. If it's anor sushi model, probably the car snap into half and all occupants KIA. RIP passenger.
