Same here. For me, this latest firmware update fixed pretty much everything for my phone. But only after doing a factory reset, that's all.

So, have you tried the new Google Camera yet?

Damn. What do you think? It's the app itself or it is not fully compatible for our phones yet.

Have you tried the Lens Blur feature as well? It's not really working too well for me, especially the part where it tells you to move your phone upwards or whatever. It will always tell you that, you are either moving too fast or it just can't blur out anything. Even when it does work, it blurs out pretty much everything. LOL!

To be honest, I'm not a very patient guy. I have uninstalled the app from my phone. LOL! I can hardly get a clear shot using the Lens Blur mode. In my phone, it will actually only blur out random parts of the photo. Sometimes, it will also blur out the part I selected to be focused on. I will just download it once again and give it a try when there's a more stable, upgraded and better version of it. Maybe I'm just not that good at taking photos with my phone, I don't know.

Yeap, I agree. Background Defocus app is still the best at this points.

You see, it used to be rumours/battery myths everywhere. People like to say stuff like don't switch your WiFi and Bluetooth on all the time. Because it will shorten your battery life, and the quality of the battery itself will degrade faster than usual. In the end, you will get swollen battery like those old phones. Are all of these true? Will it happen to SONY Xperia Z1?

So, you mean you can actually get it to work but for only that one time? I will try again, but maybe next time. LOL!

So it's is actually fine for the phone if the WiFi and Bluetooth are both switched on for almost all the time? It won't damage the battery? You will only get run out of juice faster?

It's not that I am trying to insist. I'm trying to verify all these so called myths/rumours. I just want to know if switching WiFi and Bluetooth on is good for the battery.

I was like... PHEW, I'm one of those lucky ones who did not encounter any problem after the update and factory reset. But then, I was wrong. My phone just restarted itself a few minutes ago. I was searching for something on Google through Google Chrome. It suddenly just hangs for 1 or 2 seconds and BOOM. It restarted. For the first time though.

File size is huge, the .APK file itself may seem small. After installing it, I am required to download another huge 680+MB update. I don't know if that's actually normal because I don't usually play heavy games with my phone. I only play games like Flappy Bird or Threes! for example. But playing this new Spiderman 2 game makes my phone go freaking hot. Hot on both the back and the front/screen.

Get SONY Xperia Z2 please. Go back a few more pages in this thread from here, and you will see all kinds of complaints from people. For me, I don't face any major problem. Only for once, after the latest update. My phone restarted itself the other day, suddenly. I am just waiting for another firmware update to fix everything, right now. Or maybe go get yourself OnePlus One, the new and cheap flagship smartphone killer. Check it out, here.

Well, that's unfortunate. We will just have to wait for the next update or something to get everything fixed then.
