QUOTE(sookk @ Apr 28 2014, 12:48 AM) After a long time of absence from the forum ... am back with the SmartBand SWR10 COOL!! Didn't you get those T&C agreement? I think you can somehow find data security/privacy info in there. Try look it up. By the way, that's just what I think.[attachmentid=3948717] Early feedback (been using it for about a week now): - initial firmware sucks .... the device kept disconnecting from the phone - new firmware launched on 25 April fixed most problems and also added an auto night mode So what happens is that you need to download a software called "LifeLog" which allow you to track all sort of stuff: [attachmentid=3948720] Things like steps, where you been before, the weather, how much time you spent on entertainment, music, photos, etc. As a step counter, it works as advertised. But it does more than just that... you are basically recording your entire life in this software which probably brings up the next point... how safe is your data? I'm not too sure since the software sync all these info back to Sony Network (you can actually restore all your data after a hard reset). |

QUOTE(metfan @ Apr 28 2014, 09:39 PM) Oh one more thing. Experienced my first restart just now. That is what we're all hoping for. Don't worry, you're not the only one experiencing that.I do hope it's normal for all this. Kinda starting to regret changing over to Z1. Hope the next update will rectify everything. |

QUOTE(ZeneticX @ May 1 2014, 10:43 PM) bunch of freebies from sony..... available for Z1 as well For some reasons, when I open up this in the Xperia Lounge app, I can only download a few of them. OfficeSuite Pro, Box, Bitcasa and Social Live. The OfficeSuite Pro that I get to download is the trial version, but the website stated for full version. http://blogs.sonymobile.com/2014/05/01/ent...with-xperia-z2/ Thanks for sharing, by the way. |

QUOTE(ELFofWAR @ May 5 2014, 08:27 PM) juz bought a black z1 ..... Just update the OS and Firmware to the latest, it shall fix the WiFi connectivity issue. However, if you update everything to the latest, you will have to deal with a few bugs here and there.it is dynamic set, but dunno why it is android 4.3 out of the box instead of 4.2 and wifi will disconnect randomly showing 'association rejected' btw any 1 using original sony charger + 3rd party magnetic charging cable? is the charging speed same? izzit safe for battery ??? |

QUOTE(ckchan @ May 5 2014, 01:36 PM) found a suggestion to minimise the battery drain. those who had this problem is worth to try I've saw that XDA thread earlier, I did whatever he stated and also uninstalled Skype. I have my phone on Stamina mode all of the time. Before this, I'll leave my phone 100% charged every night and go to sleep. It will only drop 1% the next morning I wake up. But ever since all these new updates, it will drop 1% in only like a few hours or so.http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2740337 and for those who have any VOIP service app (especially Skype), it is advisable to uninstall it as Google had admitted there is a bug with 4.4.2 http://www.zdnet.com/kitkat-giving-you-bat...fix-7000027051/ http://www.kpopstarz.com/articles/83866/20...kat-problem.htm http://www.techradar.com/news/phone-and-co...y-drain-1231198 |

QUOTE(soul_fly9900 @ May 7 2014, 06:56 PM) Guys i'd been using this phone for 3 months without any problem. Today a notification kept coming out "an error report has been sent" since this morning. There's no obvious problem with the phone but its getting annoying as the notification kept appearing at the bottom of the screen. Any suggestions on what to do with this notification. I havent updated to the current fw yet. Try checking the apps you have downloaded, it might just be some of your recently downloaded apps playing some tricks. Try stopping them from running, then uninstall/re-install it. |

Speaking about battery. After the KitKat and firmware update, my battery drainage seems to be a lot faster. I know there's someone here shared a link to XDA thread, telling you to uninstall VoIP apps in order to avoid this for now. But I just want to share it here, once again. I leave my phone on Stamina Mode all the time. Before all these updates, I can leave my phone 100% charged and having it drop only 1% the next morning I wake up. Now, it will drop at least 7% next morning. Also, I will always try to let my phone charge until 100% before I go to bed every night.
So, any idea when the next update will come to fix all these issues? |

New bug found, on my phone. This started to happen 3 days ago I think. I've not been downloading any apps for almost 1 month. My screen display sleep time will auto change. Sometimes it will goes off in 2 minutes, then suddenly change to 30 minutes. I don't know what is happening. My usual setting is to let it goes off in 30 seconds.

QUOTE(laststep @ May 17 2014, 04:47 PM) For unable download apps do you mean through google play? It's not that I couldn't download any apps. I can. I was just saying it might not be any recently downloaded new apps that cause this to happen.if yes, go to apps force stop google play, clear the cache (warning! all your store password and search keyword will lose) then enable it back again. You should able to download apps from google play now. I have this problem before and my fren teach me above step. But no idea on screen display. |

But according to Anurag's comment, they are starting to transfer everything to the new website. So, at least they won't be completely dead.

Another problem arise again. My phone shut down itself just a few minutes ago. This time around, it is not restart. It is shut down. I was playing the Radiant Defense game since I have some spare time to waste. I was like damn it, it must be restarting itself. Then nothing happens, I thought I must have drained all of the juice. When I switched it back on, it still had 76% of battery left. I don't know what the hell is wrong, I will perform another factory reset later.

I'm just curious. Are there any accessories out there like a magnifying lens for the camera be attached onto the phone like some of those you can find for iPhones?
