Balik Pulau/Bayan Lepas LC2K run with lhwj quite successful. Not really pushing it, since it's not my car, but had lots of fun enjoying the night view of Penang. Also did another run with my own GaGa on both old/new bridge.

V12Kompressor Thanks if you can pin this to 1st page.
I believe a lot of FLX or FL members face water vapor problems with their headlights irrespective of which side of the headlights. Most would have go to claim for a new one from Proton but reason of leakage and vapor appearing inside the headlight was still unknown to many. The water vapor problem happen to myself also on my Right headlight. Given that I have tried dismantling the lens cover from a OEM headlight I have come to a conclusion that vapour could not have entered due to poor sealing of the sealant because I've previously posted that the sealant is as thick as hell. Upon further checking I found the culprit of the leaking was due to the signal rubber gasket and the position of the signal socket area will easily have water stagnant around the socket after a car wash or heavy rain. If serious case, water or moisture will sips into the headlights through the bad gasket. I solved this problem by replacing the socket's gasket with a taiwan made headlight signal socket. I'm not sure if you can just buy the socket gasket from spare part shop or you can try to buy the signal socket and only use the gasket. I have changed mine few months back and have gone through multiple car wash and lately super heavy rain and no water vapour have appear inside my headlight anymore. Example of the signal socket gasket (blue colour) This picture is for reference only. ![]() This post has been edited by TitanRev: Mar 22 2014, 11:15 AM |

If send to ordinary workshop to repair the accident damage, yes warranty can be voided depending on the SC whether they wanna lend you a helping hand. |

I sent accident repair behind cose, authorize proton. Sent at cose, complain about noise on engine compartment. Cose change cvt mounting and engine mounting. But the noise still persist. Call back my sa, she said saga sv is like that one. Wtf. End up sent at small proton sc tmn medan, tensioner bearing kong. Only 15k km. |

I would guess that bearing KO prematurely partly caused by the accident also. Feel sorry to hear that, but I'm sure it has nothing to do with SV.Sent at cose, complain about noise on engine compartment. Cose change cvt mounting and engine mounting. But the noise still persist. Donno why it can damage that tensioner bearing. That small SC said its covered under warranty. That woman sa at cose really lousy. Threat me like i know nothing. |

QUOTE(Effy92 @ Mar 22 2014, 09:28 PM) Very minor accident only. Donno why it can damage that tensioner bearing. That small SC said its covered under warranty. Errr... tensioner bearing is consumable parts, indeed not covered under warranty. Other than that, accident does not cover under warranty as well. So, unless its mechanical failure on the tensioner bearing PRE-accident, then yes it's covered under warranty. I guessed the small SC is really being lenient on claims, hence they allowed you to claim under warranty, or may be that small SC were not informed that your car was involved in an accident previously. Anyways, you should feel gracious on that small SC.That woman sa at cose really lousy. Threat me like i know nothing. |
