If send to ordinary workshop to repair the accident damage, yes warranty can be voided depending on the SC whether they wanna lend you a helping hand.

I sent accident repair behind cose, authorize proton.

Sent at cose, complain about noise on engine compartment. Cose change cvt mounting and engine mounting. But the noise still persist. Call back my sa, she said saga sv is like that one. Wtf.

End up sent at small proton sc tmn medan, tensioner bearing kong. Only 15k km.

Tensioner bearing is indeed weak on all kampro, and it's indeed not covered under warranty. I would guess that bearing KO prematurely partly caused by the accident also. Feel sorry to hear that, but I'm sure it has nothing to do with SV.

Very minor accident only. Donno why it can damage that tensioner bearing. That small SC said its covered under warranty.

p/s: Yours is SV rite? SV doesn't have fog lamp, if ayam the officer saw the foglamp, I also will accuse you void warranty due to customize fitted the foglamp, as a result tensioner bearing KO whistling.gif

Yes SV. But the authorize proton workshop already cabut the foglamp after headlight replacement. The aftermarket foglamp involve wire cutting, so the workshop not dare to cut wire to joint the headlamp and foglamp because can void warranty. So now my gf car still got warranty. now my gf car no eyes liaw. laugh.gif

When at the small sc, i not inform my car got accident before. When at cose i tell my sa my car got accident after i got free engine mounting and cvt mounting. biggrin.gif

Errr... tensioner bearing is consumable parts, indeed not covered under warranty. Other than that, accident does not cover under warranty as well. So, unless its mechanical failure on the tensioner bearing PRE-accident, then yes it's covered under warranty. I guessed the small SC is really being lenient on claims, hence they allowed you to claim under warranty, or may be that small SC were not informed that your car was involved in an accident previously. Anyways, you should feel gracious on that small SC.

I come across to this blogspot. The owner got Tensioner Bearing under warranty.
