limited budget, looking for a 08 - 09 year car with below RM25k only... myvi i thk is out of the range.... 08 - 09 blm saga FC high?

Generally, if you're looking for AT cars, the only available good fuel economy is Vios/MyBi. Basically GaGa has nothing to do with fuel economy, despite latest CVT teknologi can help abit, but still far from FUEL EFFICIENT

As per david said auto blm hardly o get nice fc. So mybi viva or vios is good in fc.

Just a noob question, approximately how many kilometers more can saga 1.3 CVT go after the petrol warning light is lit?

Try 50km and see Try more often to see whether your fuel pump will KO

Some say 50km, some say 80km, point is it depends on the traffic condition and your driving.

Also, starving your fuel pump too often may cause it to fail.

Ayam just answering Kidding abit also kenot tahan meh. So small gas geh Don't be so giam siap lar. When start blink ady immediately go pump petrol ady, don't wait. Time to get rid of the TESTING ON EMERGENCY mentality jor. U think bek lar, how many occasions our malaysian testing on the limit? 8:30am start work, 8am only wake up, you know the boss will only come in 8:45am geh so you every day testing your limit reaching office 8:35, 8:40am juuuuuuust before you boss step in. 1 day, traffic jem got worst, you reach 8:45 sharp, your boss park right beside you. Fuark! Same situation, 8:30 is your low fuel indicator warning. 8:45 is your engine stall. Go up mountain too much 1 day meet tiger geh

p/s: 8:00am means like to pam petrol RM30. Just like people wake up late but blame trafuck jem. You kenot wake up earlier geh meh? 7am can mou? 6am can mou? Kenot pam RM40? Kenot pam RM50? Pam more lar!

You have no idea, when I was in NS hiway just few days ago, running on about 380 on the trip meter, I leave it running as I pass through the last R&R at Semanggol. I didn't expect from there on, there was no petrol station. As I reach Bt Kawan, warning indicator blink jor. My heart still dem "lou ding" in the hope to pam petrol before cross the bridge. For the 1st time in my life, I use my GaGa cross the 2nd bridge of Penang, clocked about 30km if not mistaken, with fuel warning indicator running on and on. By that time, my trip meter already showing 420km, been running about 40km on fuel warning indicator. Tibai my heart kept pumping as every inch my car move forward, the bridge so dem long that felt like never ends. Once I reached the island, I felt relief as I'm knowing for sure there will be petrol station near by! BUT, there isn't because I'm heading to Bayan Lepas industrial area! (Didn't know after bridge if turn to Bt Maung immediately got 1 Petron by the road side). In the end, my GaGa managed to jerk forward a few hundred meters just before it stall and got itself into a Petronas station in Bayan Lepas.

So, have I tried 70km for the 1st time on blinking mode Will I try again? Next time even 2 bar left also I go pam petrol liao. Bloody useless sohigh FC GaGa

b) do you want to petrol warning blink when :
1) no petrol station is nearby?
2) stuck in jam
saga FC like sohigh, summore air compressor sohigh fuel sucking petrol summore meter cannot trust sumtimes drop sumtimes went up again. you dunno meh?
p/s : davidke20 already answering you. i like talk kok sing song along.so don't attempt do pump only when warning is lit up.

FC i thk is not really a big issues since i'm not driving it everyday, the 1 i concern is can the 08 - 09 saga last another 5 years? which mean the total lifespan of saga can last until 9 to 10 years?

please consider myvi. see my fuelly to see the truth.
9.0km/L only on city driving. pump rm63 = 30litres = 270km only
myvi can get around 320-350-380km.

old saga can last more then 20 years and keep running. IINM, Mahihi's car also on BLM 08/09. if take care of car often e.g service on time, then car can live for much more. but you have to consider to spend around 1K to 2K if the second hand car got problem. let me check davidke20 old post, because he also bought 2nd hand saga.
i also not frequent drive car. approx. 25km/day. 1 week only pump. but only butthurt when only 2 days travel kl-cyberjaya-kl, kl-shah alam-puchong-kl, 3 day only kena pump lagi.

it is fog lamp, but if use too bright lamp, then it became spot light.

guys, i got a problem with my FLX 1.3 auto which i will address to the SC when i take it for my next service.

I have this problem which is my car sometimes will fail to start. (when i turn my key it will stuck on ignition and would not startup)
and 1 weird thing is when this happen, my brake will jam and i cant seem to step it down completely.

and i need to stress that, it occurs very very randomly, previously the frequency of occurrence is increasing quite drastically. i tried to catch the pattern as to wat will cause it to fail to start but couldnt find a trend.

and worst things is, i only own this car for 7 months =.=
