Model: 2008 Proton BLM 1.3 Manual
petrol used: shell
engine oil: petronas syntium 15-50
driving route: pandan indah-rawang-bidor-tapah-cameron
average speed: pandan indah to rawang (80km/h)
rawang to bidoh (120km/h)
bidoh to tapah (90km/h)
tapah to cameron (50km/h) due to the snakey road~
Latest mileage: 89XXkm
Loading factor: 3 adults 1 kid with half boot space used.

FC: 0.147cents/km @rm1.80

i drive normal only... maintain speed, revs at 2k or 2.5k only, slow la but wat to do. quickly change gear, usually before revs reaches 2.5k. try not to play too much with brakes. check tire pressure often. dont use a/c when its not hot.

but recently, i retuned my carb, n the result is better.

Dun use a/c? Whenever i switch off my a/c, the temperature increase drastically.

same with me lorrr...my FC also around 10km/L...also using kancil manual 850...
i on the acc the temperature meter nvr move, but when off the acc the temp. meter will go almost red...
haizz better use bigger car laa...

Small Engine mods n exhaust system & 15" rims


better direct connect d radiator fan, remove d relay. my foreman did for me for free. u can do it yourself oso. basically ur thermostat got prob, not switchin on d fan automatically, so better go manual.

only downside, life span of radiator fan shortens (not so much la), but can alwiz just replace d motor if d fan dies. no need to change the whole set.

i dont have this problem. its because of the radiator fan not running. u have to follow what fabianedg said. i never did this cuz i neva faced this problem... maybe there could be other ways to solve this problem cuz its funny that u have this prob cuz i believe u r also driving a kancil.

i had this problem with my honda accord sa6. its a 27 year old car. but recently, after i serviced that car and changed some hose, i didnt have this problem dy. but i am quite sure servicing and the hose have nothing to do with this problem. maybe the car is juz moody.

My Proton BLM 1.3 Auto FC:
RM50 at RM1.80 get about 27.77778 liters
Can get about 305 km
Mileage 3000 km++

Thus FC ==> 10.97 km/liters

wah, 16km/l, so save ah cps waja............
so gen2 cps will get the same fc?

myvi 1.3 manual (RM60 + full tank = 400km) but i'm unsure of both car's fuel tank size lar... if in comparrison

Oh boy TODAY heh!, i paksa the fuel to masuk the tank, actually the the fuel meter already stop, i wan to paksa it to masuk until RM50, habis melimpah limpah the fuel, @@ first time fuel melimpah, sungguh memalukan @@
take back the baki duit @@ sigh i think waste about 1 liters melimpah limpah , that one liter can jalan about 10km deh
