Toyota Corolla EE90 4A-GE 20V Black

journey: Kajang to Penang island...
==>kajang to Highway Toll...80km/h HOT weather
==>KL to Ipoh...110~140km/h...HOT weather...1300~1500hrs...
==>Ipoh to Penang...120km/h (sometimes...170km/h chasing new camry but still ahead of me T.T)...Raining...
==>Penang Bridge...raining and traffic jam...40~50km/h

==>FC: RM50 ...400km...

==>Engine condition:one piston ring got minor problem...knocking...using Full synthetic Endless...not bad...K&N air filter...not cleaned for long time...

==>Fuel used: BHP and Caltex...(recommended Caltex)

==>Tyre: 31psi, Front=Michelin,Rare=Bridgestone MY-01 195/15R50

since whole journey is in highway,so fuel consumption figure is acceptable...if city driving...won't get tat much...gradually accelerate the speed is more fuel consumption friendly...

Below is mine. Proton Wira sedan 1.5 manual (yr 2003) based on 2 scenario.

1. Pure north-south highway cruising speed at 110-120km/hr
usage: 0.06596 liter/km or 15.1598 km/liter

2. 80% city, 20% highway
usage: 0.082 liter/km or 12.1935 km/liter

Based on this, i found that my city driving mileage sucks and quite petrol consuming.

1) Aircorn set at 25c center most the time, fan level mostly set at very first level, if got also 50% only.
2) When i first get the car until 1k service was using 40psi (didnt do any setting), after 1k-2.5k km i use 35psi
3) Not really, i use a lot penang coastal highway.

My wira with 4G93 1.8 turbo (A) FC. Work day, 90% traffic, 10% hw, full tank 50liters, can only go up to 350km-380km only.

Crussing balik kg 20%hw,80% normal road, (balik kg kelantan no hw), full tank (50 liters), can go only 470km to 500km only (crussing 100km/h to 150km/h).

Using turbo engine drain fuel like hell, but it worth it....thz... wink.gif

here's mine :

Perodua Kembara 1.3 (A) non - DVVT version
11.96km per litre; RM 53 @ 317km. RM 2.00.

Travelled destination : From kepong to TARC via MRR2. I would conclude that route consist 75% highway and 25 % city. However, there are lots of hill that i had to go through along the way.
Full blast air - con.
Tyre pressure is 220 kPa / 31 psi for all tyres.
A bit heavy footed.
Travelling speed is in between 75km/h - 80km/h.

A thirsty car IMHO. sweat.gif

Off topic: Btw, has any1 heard of autorun oil ?? My friend is using it on his honda stream n he found out tat it provides better fuel consumption n better overall performance.

Honda City VTEC L15A 1.5, CVT, 34 litre, 435KM average... Highest achieve 460KM.
Full tank is 42 litre, but usually 34 litre lights on then go and pump petrol. So I don't know full tank.
