I would definitely have to agree with you that doing 15Km/L and above in a 2.5L executive car is a great achievement over any 2.0L cars.
Even my other car, the Exora, has difficulty reaching beyond the 12Km/L mark (but I am confident it can do a FC close to Nissan Serena Hybrid) on highway.

Just that I look at things differently. And I do apologise if it may offend your opinion.

This is how I look. I buy a hybrid to save fuel.
However at RM 175K vs another car which has a lower OTR price tag and yet saves fuel as-close as the Hybrid, doing 15KM/L.

(Note: I have to point out that the Hybrid will still outperform the conventional petrol engine in FC).

The only new cars I could think off is :
i) Honda Jazz Hybrid - RM 89,912.15
ii) Honda City Non Hybrid - RM 89,467.20 (V spec, as a valid comparison)

Thats a RM 85K of price difference. That makes up a whopping 41,463 Litres (based on RM 2.05/L, lets say) of fuel.
And yet I still can save fuel. Its a sad thing that Honda no longer produces new models with the IDSI engine.

I know well enough it's also not a fair direct comparison between an executive car vs a smaller Sedan.

BTW I sat before in my friend's Camry Hybrid. Lovely ride. But its only the price tag makes me wonder whether its worth while. However for a businessman which travels alot, this will definitely be a compliment
