How is your android experience?

Some tips to make your nexus 5 smoother:
Go to Settings>about phone>( keep on tapping on build number until you have developer options), go to settings again and you should have the developer options, go in, scroll down and you should see window animation scale, transition animation scale and animator animation scale, change all to .5x.

Also, you can try changing the select runtime to use art instead of use dalvik.
Your phone will reboot and it will take 10-15minutes to set up your phone.

Since you are coming from ios, i suggest staying stock for awhile to familiar yourself with android 1st before going deeper as stock android is good enough.

Hmm, do let me know whether flashing to custom rom fixed it, but i doubt so cause some ppl flashed stock image again but it didnt fix it.

Anyone else facing this problem? It just randomly no signal and go to emergency call only mode and if i try to call my phone, it straight go into voicemail.

btw, im having trouble installing xposed framework, i click install n once it done i click the framework n click install/update, it suppose to let me accept smtg but tht thing dint show n i couldnt install it. anyone having this problem?

Do you guys realize elementalx 0.32 with slimkat battery drain a lot ?

Not sure about that, do note that xposed wont work with art.

din realize i installed the old 0.26 version, how do i update my rom? do i just flash it again like how i flash it?

Am using purity with elementalx. Didnt face any abnormal drain. Try check any wakelocks and also the infamous qcamera-daemon bug

YUP... last time i told them of my bad connection at my housing and office area (putra heights/USJ) they said yes we are aware but there are no plans yet to improve... i was like WTF?!?!?!?!

Now i moved office to Setia Alam... same old shit story...

that's my first postpaid telco, also follow by the same shit from digi. now at celcom, I won't go back to maxis and digi ever....

It's cause by some app that didn't close properly that uses your camera. OS still thinks that that app is still using the camera, hence it pops this out when you open camera app.

Very very rare I encounter this problem. Like chances I get it is once awhile (maybe 1/50). Usually I just go to Settings > Mobile networks > Network operators and select my carrier again. Fix for me.

Digi was very bad at my area until everyone port out to Umobile and those from maxis stay with maxis.

Now umobile congested and coverage not that great in my room while in my uni, Digi beats both umobile and maxis. No friend use celcom to compare with

Umobile at most I get 150KB/s while digi I can easily get 300~400KB/s even in Sarawak.

Too bad... Digi is quite expensive for now. Switched to umobile as its U28 plan is exactly what I need.
