I'm using 340, it's abit too low for most people, but I love to have 6 icon at dock.

First drop my n5. Luckily got case and glass SP. But due to impact, the SP chipped a bit on the corner. Is it worth to change it now? =x

To unlock bootloader without data wipe you would need to have root. To have root without an unlocked bootloader on Nexus devices, there would need to be an exploit found in Android 4.4. As far as I know, this does not exist. So, to answer your question: it is possible if an exploit for root exists

Why didn't you unlock bl when you first got your phone whistling.gif

Either you go the toolkit (eg: wugfresh) way or adb/fastboot way.

I've used wug's toolkit and had no problem(s). But a lot of people would recommend to go the toolkit-less way aka adb/fastboot way

If you felt the corner is sharp, then maybe yeah.

Toolkit is ok, catch is it might not guarantee to work on everyone. You could give it a shot, if failed, there's still good old adb method.

Either Toolkit or adb/fastboot method will Clean wipe your device, so backup your stuff first. (if you haven't unlock your device before)
