try flash using NSU, are yours on dp? if yes u will have to downgrade back to BLACK 1st, then only u can get Cyan update...


share some lil exp... while updating my phone, i perform clean flash by using NSU, i downloaded the file 1.63gb thn plugged in my phone, waited for like 3 mins the NSU ask me to softreset, it prompt "please reset your phone by holding volume down + power, wait for vibration and continue the installation"

well after doing so, my phone started with a pitch black Nokia screen, then follow by crimson loading screen with a loading bar... i knew it started to install~~

just shortly after like 5 mins, voila~ whole new wp8.1 Lumia Cyan 920 is born~~

and everything is working ever so smoothly~

lil tips here:-

1) backup PHOTO, VIDEO, MUSIC into ur computer for faster backup speed and less time-consuming

2) ONLY backup ur app list by phone backup OR if you wanna filter wat is needed and wat's not, jus copy down the apps' name on a piece of paper, so u can manually look for them to download later on ..

3) be sure to backup all essential messages to prevent for future regret..



Lastly, hope everyone can have Lumia Cyan and have fun on the LUMIA family!!

Used retailer software to update. I notice there's no cortana, is that normal?

in order to have cortana, simply set keyboard, language, and region to United State, u might have to download US language 1st, total of 2 restarts, then you will see cortana appear on the app list.

I've updated my 920 black into OTA cyan, but stuck at the endless cogs mode. Please help.

there isnt anything u could except patiently wait for it to complete... or clean update which wipe clean ur whole phone...

But it's been 36 hours still in rotating cogs :'(

Anyone knows how to break the rotating cogs mode ?
I've tried Volume down + Power several times, but still come back to rotating gears mode.

36hours? LOL that's so sick... i took like only 40minutes for everything..

successfully updated to Cyan but the battery drains like water flow with Data on.

why i cant use my whatsapp after update? lol

Had the same problem a while ago. I had to hard reset it to get the phone working again.

"Press and hold the Camera + Volume Down + Power until the phone vibrates. Then release the Power key and keep pressing the Camera + Volume Down for a few seconds."

I'm trying Nokia Software Recovery Tool on PC (Win 8) & ready for WM 8.1 (Black) now.
Hopefully everything back to normal, except all data will be erased:-(
