QUOTE(Curiga @ Mar 5 2014, 08:56 PM) I bought my DT-910 back in 2013 and believe me I been through many different Nokia stores and usually they don't keep stocks because it is not cheap and they will charge a bit more if you decide to pre-order from them. I was lucky they have stock at Sunway Pyramid Nokia store. Pricing wise was around RM 319 SRP but I bought it with my Lumia preorder voucher RM 150 discount on Nokia accessories so I only needed to pay RM 169.This post has been edited by FlamingR: Mar 6 2014, 09:33 AM |

Hi guys, need your help this time. I can't seem to detect my new ASUS RT-56u's 5Ghz band SSID. I have set my router to WPA2-Personal AES, 40Mhz only, N only & control channel to 36(lowest). Any ideas will be much appreciated.

QUOTE(mrl @ May 4 2014, 03:34 AM) Hi all... i am thinking of jumping ship into WP again but my last experience with L920 isnt something that I would call pleasing. I wonder if two of the most annoying bug has gone out of the picture now with recent update. I know Nokia came with a fix( a desktop software like NSU) to unstuck your phone should you ever get into the looping gear issue. Crash wise I think it could the installed legacy(WP 7) apps that it's not compatible with WP8. So far with the updates be it firmware or OS updates that have been pushed out, the phone has been relatively stable now. I have came across with some of the issues you have mentioned but now it is gone. If you want my suggestion, if you can get a hands on a second hand Lumia 920 for like less than RM 500 then it's kinda worth it. Else just wait for the successor Lumia 930.1. Last time my 920 really love to crash and refuse to work (i recall it went into bootloop) until I reset it with power + volume down. Does this still happen? 2. How about resetting the phone to factory setting? Does it still stuck in the gear screen for a very long time? I think that is the two item that really turns me off making me sells my 920 last time. Now thinking about going back, i might grab 920 or 925 if I can find any. Else just wait for 930. But does the above issues has been solved in recent updates? QUOTE(LumiaFanboy @ May 18 2014, 02:38 PM) I imported it from Amazon. Seems like the local stores aren't selling it. Price is around USD 115 not yet count shipping cost. Estimate total cost should be around USD 140+. Btw, the Nokia CR-200 is awesome but the charging speed is just not that great as you know it's powered from the car. This post has been edited by FlamingR: May 18 2014, 04:13 PM |

QUOTE(Mystycat @ May 18 2014, 02:44 PM) Mine phone says sim card invalid or error, you can still call emergency no bla bla..., in the calling page say no sim card. Are you using the micro sim and not the cut sim?Tested the card in my samsung phone, no problem. But my cousin told me that he still using it to call before handing it to me, thats weird. |

QUOTE(Mystycat @ May 18 2014, 05:40 PM) I see that you even tried to use a thin paper to slot in as well right? Maybe try a scotch tape or cut a small piece of a business card? Hmm, also try to use SysApp Pusher(An App to manually check for updates) to update your Access Point at the Store. If soft reset/hard reset also cannot then have to send for Nokia Center to check already. Hope this helps. |

QUOTE(m0r31d8ng3l @ Apr 12 2015, 03:54 PM) I tried by upgrading from the WP 8.1 GDDR 2 and I can't use the call function because during the SIM Pin, I can type in the pin but it just hang and have to soft reset after I press enter.Other functions are ok but it is sluggish compared to WP 8.1. The screen fonts turned smaller made it harder to read. Not recommended to upgrade to WP 10 with your daily phone now as its still very early stage. Preview for Developers is still ok as its a "BETA". WP 10 is like the "ALPHA" stage of development. I switched back to WP 8.1 for stability, some of my important whatsapp conversation reset. Not worth the trouble unless you want to help to develop the OS and not using it as your main phone. |
