nope didnt solve, just founded out many people had this problem and most of them repaired it by sending to nokia care center man this is gonna waste some time.

Ah feeling sorry for you since your first smartphone gave you a bad experience. Mine is working quite nicely.

I think just exchange this one with a newer one if possible. Should be fine then Best of luck

Tried that actually but still the estimated hours of battery life is only 8 hours compared to this video which have at least a day on that setting. BTW, i just charged it using wireless charger only. Never tried using power plug as usual. is that make any diff?

Man are you using the Nokia charger? This, too, makes a difference.

Do a hard reset of your phone and charge it for about 5-6 hours first. Then later, it would take around 2.5~3.0 hours to charge fully.

Mine estimated time is usually around 1 day and 14 hours but it actually lasts for about 20~22 hours with my usage.

oh ok.so need to charge it using normal charger, not the wireless one, right? .thanks for the tip.will try later..

Oh you are using the wireless charger. I see.

Try to charge with the original charger and keep an eye on the battery. If it is fine then, that means wireless charger is the problem. Like my powerbank, it charges the phone in about 2 hour and battery drains in just 6~7 hours even without wifi and data plan

well one thing 1st, are your L920 freshly out of box? if yes, thn you will nid at least 5 ~8 charges + discharges to enable the battery to perform as it might, something same as car break in period, don worry, mine is also same whn i 1st got it in 2013, after 1 week of normal usage the battery can last a day when fully charged, and Im even on 4G mode + wireless connection, so just keep calm and charge the phone bro !!

Yes bro just bought it last Sat and it is newly sealed out of the box. So far I just use the nokia wireless charger and i did charged it to 100%. Will try your method once the battery is totally exhausted.

My screen also have this flicker problem, but only if the phone is hot or under direct sunlight.
Whether it got issue with screen or ambient detector.

how you repair it? mine only use to open whatsapp inside my room then the screen will go crazy, its barely readable.

there is no need to get the battery to the point its totally exhaust, doing that will only cause yourself inconvenient, just use the phone as you might normally and charge it whenever you want, there isn't any thing to harm the battery even if you charge it while it has more than 50%.

The design and the price, so not worth it

turn off the glance and change brightness to low

but still its a hardware issue right. i want to get it changed.

Can i update directly my newly bought lumia 920 to lumia black? or do i need to update the previous one also eg amber.

Go to settings, extras + info, and see which version you are using. Then just go to phone updates and it will do everything for you.
