My friend's mom got abt rm300k in her asb.

So next year,she may get another rm700k from sale of her property.

Can she put all that money into her asb account or is there a limit?

Btw,she has 2 children who also has asb account.


Another thing,lets say she got that rm700k property sale and combine with her rm300k savings,she will have ard rm1.1mil ...all into asb savings.

Here is the question,she has a bank loan running for another 15 years,loan amount abt rm350k,monthly installment abt rm1800/month.

Shud she pay off the loan with the asb savings or wait another 3/4 years,use the dividend collected and pay off?

u can't top up once you reach 200k..
how she got almost 400k is due to inheritance or the accumulation amount from the initial 200k deposit.

She also can put the 700k into Tabung Haji (if she is muslim). Dividen rate is around 5% with no limit.

thats what amaze me,coz i saw her book and she directly put in rm400k wor

once u got 400k inside.. u can take out the money and put back 400k.

that is why a lot of people do 200k loan.. next year the max amount will become 215k..
take out 15k, put in TH.. loan another 15k and the list go on.
they just want to max ASB with loan and keep the cash in other instrument.

Managed to get RM6200 of ASW today. Ran out of bullets. Think there is still a lot more available.

Tried to open an account for my daughter but the lady said she tried and it was not successful. Don't know when she tried as I went to the bank to get money (I ran out of bullets).

Managed to get some 5k ASW2020 & only 1k ASM I tot can get bigger amount, but looks like there's a lot of people trying today

u mean u have 200k now & asking which fund available to invest?

then your only choice is ASN3 & ASG which is variable pricing fund just like "normal" UT like Public Mutual
