No luck with my ASW for the past few days. About to give up on this ASW pre D-day harvest. Ha.

Anyone with good ASW catches?

Cheerio.

they don't give him the ASB cert

they give the ASB cert to the bank as collateral for the financing scheme

as now u still student, better to use own money than ASB loan.

u planning to take housing loan when working? because ASB loans could effect your credit rating when u apply for housing loan later (depend on banks)  nod.gif

if u take asb loan, they would give you ASB certificate.

just my opinion. I'm not expert in ASB loans  sweat.gif

Nope, I already have a house. I will probably only take up car loan, anyhow... Can someone explain how loan is better than using our own money icon_question.gif

I've done quite a bit of googling and it seems there's multiple ways of doing so but I'm still quite skeptical.

Heard about the incoming school of fish before the D day on 1 Sept and thus made extra effort to test the water. No catch so far. So about to go back to my usual SOP (std operating procedures). Ha.

Free? It is up to one self on sacrificing for things like this. It will pay back handsomely later, trust me.

Cheerio.

simple comparison between on saving and asb loan. This is not exact calculation. This is one of the method that people use

own saving
-------------
monthly put asb = rm1160
1 year = 13920 + 7% interest
2 year = ((13920 + 7%) + 13920 ) * 7%
3 year ...
4 year ...

asb loan
----------
loan RM200k
1st year pay bank per month= rm1160

2nd year and above, get interest about RM15k. Use that interest to pay bank loan
After 2nd year, u do not need to use your own money to pay bank loan.. just use the interest.

By end on contract, atleast you will get RM200k++

Total investment = bank loan for 1st year = 1160 x 12 = RM13,920

ROI = RM200k++ - RM13,920

calculation for asb loan
-----------
RM15k devide by 12 month = RM1250

RM1250 - 1160(pay to bank) = RM90 extra money
