The early video i posted is English, so far i found the another latest video only chinese, but you can see it through the action. He just throw the phone many times to ensure whether Nokia X is working not.

Nokia Fastlane is one of the primary features of the Nokia X. Nokia Fastlane actually made its debut in the Nokia Asha 501 last year. Fastlane is a pretty neat notification feature that is also interactive. It ties in with the user’s social networking, games, photos, and other apps. But more importantly, it is fun and convenient.

Let's discuss what the Nokia Fastlane can do. By default, Fastlane displays your latest activity.
1. Fastlane will show the latest apps or game you open. Example, if you played Plants vs Zombie 2, it will show up in the Fastlane.

2. Fastlane displays missed calls and message. You can even immediately reply a message or missed call in the fastlane.

3. Photos taken and screenshots are shown in the fastlane too.

4. When you open the music app, the music that you are playing will be shown in fastlane. There are even 'play' and 'skip buttons'.

5. Fastlane shows yout future BUT not the actual future, lol. Instead, fastlane displays upcoming events marked in the calender and alarms when you scroll above 'Recent' in the fastlane.

Please correct me if I left out some other features. Meanwhile, here is a video about Fastlane in action on the Nokia X.

By the way, this is just my opinion, but I think that the fastlane in Nokia Asha series is more polished and refined compared to Nokia X. Maybe it is because the Asha software has received updates till the 1.4 version which brings Nokia Mixradio, access camera from lockscreen, and wallpapers can be seen in fastlane instead of black wallpaper as in the Nokia X series.

What do you guys think? Do you think Nokia X OS is good as it is now or do you think Nokia should continue to support and update the Nokia X OS to make it even better in the near future? Give out your opinion. XD smile.gif

Unboxing of Nokia X from pocketnow by Michael Fisher. By the way, pocketnow is a great website for reviews and news about the latest tech and smartphone world. PS, one of my favourite websites.

there a lot of improvements that can be done to the Nokia X platform.
one of them is access to native file explorer. I don't need much of the extra features that 3rd party file manager app offers but I do use the file manager quite often so I hope it can be done on the future updates cheers.gif

I'm actually surprised how this little phone can handle gaming...
Even ePSXe works like a charm, and some heavier games can run with minimal performance hit. Pretty impressive thing I'd say... brows.gif tongue.gif

Something strange is happening to my phone. When I want to update my app in Nokia store, it tells me to update my phone before I can update the app. My phone is already running v11.1.1. Anyone else facing this issue?

Another thing is I am getting the "Please Wait" screen sometimes when I want to get back to home screen.
It used to do this before I updated to v11.1.1, then it started again from yesterday. Can anyone help?

my phone is exactly like yours. but it happen after i send my phone for fixing at nokia care n having trouble installing apks as well as gapps. its a little bit frustrating but i think its ok.
i remove the battery n reboot if it continue to block updates. if u think theres something wrong wid yr firmware, u may reflash the firmware again via nokia suite care 5.0. i think it'll solve the prob smile.gif
