Don't go there on purpose. Only when you're nearby, e.g. Subang, Subway Pyramid/Lagoon, IOI Mall, etc.

It cost me RM5+ of tolls just to go there, so I only plan my reload if I got activities at Pyramid. brows.gif
*
or if you have any programs around puchong like ioi mall, boulevard, setiawalk, etc. doesn't cost extra toll from puchong to kinrara furniture street.

I was thinking to get this card as my second card, and might use it seldom... may I know is it hard to maintain? e.g. annual fee, minimum spend, etc
*
it's easy to maintain. free for life with no annual fee. no minimum spend but maybe you may want to spend enough to get the sufficient tp to redeem your gst.

haha..u get the wrong point here  doh.gif  doh.gif  doh.gif
i did not say pay cash for the spending..i only mentioned to spend 12500TP (which is equivalent to rn2500) just to redeem the gst waiver..
i'm not the person who spends 2k a month..unless for the 0% installment plan..
if u can spend rm2500, what is rm50 to u.. even though the TPs were no longer evergreen, but i can still use it to redeemed vouchers or enrich miles  icon_rolleyes.gif

furthermore, rm50 gst is only once a year..if u divide by 12, it is only rm4.17 a month..if you don;t want to pay rm50 lump sump, start saving each month to enable to pay the gst..hahaha

this is just a view from an accountant  cool2.gif no offence brother  smile.gif
*
LOL! i can't believe the reply to my post can go this far.

at first i'm suggesting perhaps the person would like to swipe at least rm2.5k (in a year) to get 12,500 tp to redeem for rm50 gst. but you mistaken i'm suggesting the person to swipe rm2.5k in a month instead of a year. laugh.gif

then now your reply was misunderstood to be in favour of paying cash for spending. biggrin.gif

I don't understand. Using 12500 points for GST waiver or voucher, it's the same thing - you get back RM50 value worth.

What is the argument here? Rather pay RM50 cash for the GST and use points for vouchers? Or purposely spending RM2,500 when there is no need to spend for it, just to redeem RM50 GST?
*
i don't understand the argument here either.

for me, first use the accumulated tp for rm50 gst with 12,500 tp. then additional tp can exchange for cash vouchers. and it's easy to get the tp with amex since it's 5x at any time and any day.

Thanks for reply! Wow it is indeed attractive! But is there any way to waive the GST without using up points/rebates, like my UOB card does? (a bit greedy right)  tongue.gif
My first card is UOB one, with 7% cash rebate at BHP (5% cash back 2% smart $$). But it have a total cap of 900k for petrol every month  cry.gif  Hence i was looking for a secondary card which can be used during end of month, where 900k quota most likely exceeded  whistling.gif

By the way why u mention staying Klang Valley? got any benefits?  tongue.gif
*
gst cannot be waived.
bcs klang valley has more merchant can accept amex.

I have a question guys. I made payment for my March statement short off RM50 as I thought that the RM50 cashback will be captured as payment in the statement to minus the balance.

Did I get it wrong here?
*
should have just paid the statement balance. when they give you the gst rm50, it can still be used to deduct your next month's statement balance.

Hello sifu I haven't got my MBB2 card yet but they already shown in my MB2u. Problem is I remembered I requested for Mastercard but they gave me visa instead. Which one is better? Can I request for a change since I already got MBB visa debit card?

I applied the cards at their branch. Have been waiting for nearly a month now. So even though it shows visa in MB2U, I actually can still get mastercard?  hmm.gif
*
does it matter so much to you whether it's a mastercard or visa? i think when you get the card, you will be using amex more instead of mastercard or visa (for maximum benefits).

anyway, if that really matters, you may call the cs and request them to change the visa to mastercard saying that you did mentioned during your application that you wanted for a mastercard instead of visa.

for your information, there is no difference between mastercard and visa because both are widely accepted. the difference are mainly on exclusive promotion done by mastercard or visa. for example, get 10% discount on agoda with visa on wednesday or get 10% discount on universal studio sg entrance ticket with mastercard (previous promo).
