QUOTE(cx2531 @ Apr 22 2014, 04:34 PM) sien lo. spend almost 1.5k-2k for this month. just on weekend. haha. so i assume i fully utilise the cash rebate because the cash rebate only cap at rm50. why you did not divide your rm1.5k-rm2k expenses to 2 months? unless each of your transaction is a huge transaction? otherwise, you can get rm50 rebate (x2) for 2 separate months.

QUOTE(Devil4life @ Apr 22 2014, 05:06 PM) I'm reaching expiry of my card and today I receive a reminder SMS on this and they will issue a new card for me. Just want to ask will the card number be the same as my previous one? I have few autodebit tied to the card. Secondly, previously I had increase my credit limit which entitles me to platinum but I stick to my old card because if change to platinum they would charge GST again. So will I get a platinum card this time around? you will get the same type of card unless you did mentioned that you would like to change to platinum when the new card arrives This post has been edited by victorywp: Apr 22 2014, 05:22 PM

So next step sign the cards, activate the cards on M2U, call CS to set sms alert to RM1 and I'm good to go issit? what security precautions that I have to take? another is to check whether your amex msos safekey is activated. by right, it should have activated.

QUOTE(kazekage_09 @ Apr 23 2014, 10:44 AM) guys, a quick question, if i using the card today, i will have 21 days of free interest is it? regardless of when i use it? meaning if i clear the payment within 21 days i will not be charged on interest right? even when i use it a day before the statement date? you will have 20 days of free-interest from the statement date. let's say if your statement date is on 14th, and you swipe on 15th, this transaction on 15th will have 20 days free-interest starts counting from 14th of the next month.

QUOTE(kazekage_09 @ Apr 23 2014, 03:04 PM) sorry I dont quite get it. let me give my real example. my statement date is 3 april. payment due date 23 april I swipe on 15 april and 19 april. so how many days free interest for these 2 transactions? your swipes on 15/4 and 19/4 will be captured on 3/5 statement. so you need to pay by 23/5 for that 2 transactions. 20 free-interest days start counting from your statement date. so if you swipe right after your statement date, you will have more than 1 month to pay it. So that means we will always have more than 21 days free interest unless we swipe ngam ngam on the statement date right yes, minimum 20 free-interest days.
