Then you need EA and EPF statement notworthy.gif
Even when I applied for WISE also I used my income tax slip only whistling.gif
When the officer ask me for more documents like payslip and EPF statement, I tell him I only have this and if want extra documents, I need to fax. That fellow like don't want to submit only. 2 weeks of waiting nobody asked me for extra documents and on 3rd week, they called me to collect the card thumbup.gif

Hello sifu I haven't got my MBB2 card yet but they already shown in my MB2u. Problem is I remembered I requested for Mastercard but they gave me visa instead. Which one is better? Can I request for a change since I already got MBB visa debit card?
*
Master and Visa basically are same, except AMEX.
If you have M2U, this is normal. Mine are shown on first week when the form submitted. You applied the cards on branch or booth in shopping complex?

I applied the cards at their branch. Have been waiting for nearly a month now. So even though it shows visa in MB2U, I actually can still get mastercard?  hmm.gif
*
Not really, once shown on system, you have to apply to change it. But so far any merchant that accept Visa will accept Mastercard also.
And once you got this combination, you will be using AMEX most of the time only unless they are not accepting AMEX.

Thanks for the advice!

As I mentioned earlier I already have MB visa debit so I prefer to have mastercard instead for the extra flexibility. Amex will be the top priority of course but unfortunately not many places I frequent accept Amex  cry.gif

Just called CS and she said I need to submit the change form at MB branch.  vmad.gif why they can't just do it over the phone

Changing the card in actual is like cancel your current card and apply for a new card. They are doing this to make your life "harder" it seems, but this si to protect you against potential fraud.

Hi,

Just got my maybank 2 cards

Wanna ask about the 5% cash back on weekend for Unifi / Digi bills. If i apply for auto-pay for the bills, do i can 5% cash back? Or must i pay manually over the web during weekend to earn the 5% cash back? Paying school fees eg KDU college for my sister can get cash back also? (i knew it only earn 2x rewards point).
Thanks~!
*
Don't do direct debit and pay on weekends. Might be tedious but this is to ensure you get that 5% CB icon_rolleyes.gif

except for Celcom because u can get 5% discount of total bill charged when u subscribe for auto-payment with Amex CC.
u still get the same amount of cashback, without affecting your cashback limit  biggrin.gif
*
Still the same but if the debit done on weekdays, then only 5% hmm.gif
If I were that have WISE, use that, then sure can get 15% thumbup.gif

Not really, just want to make sure money is still big and cash back are the best way. rm50+100 can consider as interest given by bank.

Do you guys think that this is a good deal?

http://www.maybank2u.com.my/mbb_info/m2u/p...sonal/CRD-Cards

3.88% processing fee with 0% 6-month of installment plan
*
If 1.5% can consider.
If you don't have enough money to spend, then it means you have trouble on managing your money.
All those wealth planner are just bullshitting, if they are so good, then our debt this won't >90% against last year of 87%.
I'm borrowing some money to my friends just for them to pass difficult time. But then 1 of them everyday smoke, watch Astro and drink sheet water.
When you can't change your life style, such "service" will put you on more trouble after few years.

You must know how to manage your wealth first(all billionaire do this), this is the first step.
Next is to calculate the risk on borrowing money to make money. But most people misunderstand this and go for : borrowing money to spend. 2 different thing on this.

when u apply for the card?
if recently then it will be automatically e-statement already..
if not they will charge u RM1 per each month statement
that depends..
new application usually e-statement because they started to charge RM1 per statement..
those apply few year back have paper statement as default unless u request e-statement..
those apply long ago did not have RM1 charge for paper statement.. smile.gif
*
I go for e-statement(never bother to print also) directly and I always use rm1000 sharp laugh.gif

Net or gross? Net income will have better success rate, if gross income then hard a bit.

Just got my M2Cards today, delivered to my office this evening. Applied thru email on 11th, approved thru email on 17th, received approval from sms yesterday.

So next step sign the cards, activate the cards on M2U, call CS to set sms alert to RM1 and I'm good to go issit?  laugh.gif
what security precautions that I have to take?  blush.gif
*
You no need to activate the cards and can use directly. But the pin you need to visit a branch to get the pins.

But the cards came in with reminder from Maybank for us to activate the cards. I can see the button to activate them from my M2U.
What pins?
*
Guess with some fraud cases that's why they remove the auto activate. Mine never do a thing and can directly swipe.
The pin is for you to use ATM features.

guys, a quick question,

if i using the card today, i will have 21 days of free interest is it? regardless of when i use it? meaning if i clear the payment within 21 days i will not be charged on interest right? even when i use it a day before the statement date?
*
21 days are after the statement date.
