yeap. that's the plan. but since its more than what i first anticipated, i may  just go and replace it around april during my engine oil maintenance.
though, like you advise, maybe i get a can of degreaser and clean it up a bit and see how it goes.
btw, vmag helped me to cleaned the engine bay on nov last year, so pretty confident whatever oil i saw now is "new" this past few months instead of years of accumulation.
the cleaning part is just for my diy/learning/fun + good to know hows the leakage rate.
*
I think don't waste money and buy the degreaser to clean it yourself.

Don't clean it until April when you go replace the seals. At least he will be able to guess where the leaks are coming from. After replacing those seals, ask him to clean your engine again lor.

Thanks for the opinions and advices. Is there anything I need to be prepare/aware of so i won't get shock (bill/life shock)?

I have heard of several issue. Will want to know how to fix and cost.
1. Air bag (don't know if it has been changed, if not how much will it be since already missed the recall program)
2. Torque converter (lost of power when shifting gear 2 to 3?)
3. Starter motor (hard to start after a short break)

Thanks

1. Air bag (don't know if it has been changed, if not how much will it be since already missed the recall program)
You can always go to a Honda SC and check whether it had been replaced previously.. If no, Honda will replace them FOC.

2. Torque converter (lost of power when shifting gear 2 to 3?)
Rarely there's any issue in regards to torque converter. Sometimes, it could possibly be due to low ATF fluid in the gearbox. Since your aunt's City had clocked in less than 30,000km, the gearbox should still be in very good condition.

3. Starter motor (hard to start after a short break)
This is a prominent issue but to me, a minor issue. The car will still be able to start, you only need to wait a few minutes for it to cool off. If you want to replace a new Denso starter. it should cost only a couple hundred ringgit.

Once you get the car, things to consider doing are as below:

1. Replace engine oil (5W30) and transmission oil (ATF DW-1);
2. Inspect air filter and cabin filter;
3. Clean throttle body;
4. Replace coolant (Honda Type 2);
5. Inspect suspension for wear and tear. I doubt you'll need any replacement since the mileage is low on the car.

what are the ways to raise the height of rear? always kena scrap/hantuk over normal bumps
*
Hantuk over normal bumps actually means your rear shocks kong already.

Another way is to change the rear rubber bushing to a thicker 1... You can refer to Post #4066 for image example.

I check from lazada oem cost around 120 and ori motor easily 23p
*
To me, blower motor use OEM is ok because it won't damage the engine...

If radiator motor use OEM, then I personally don't agree.

Guys, is it still necessary to turn off A/C before starting the engine? If the A/C is turned on, does it put extra load on the battery?
*
It is not necessary.. It won't damage the engine or other components.

However, I normally turn A/C off because I don't like the blower to blow air when I turn on the ignition.

haha.. i think you are on to something.
i checked and just noticed after a certain line below, the engine bay is still dirty, and the solenoid is below that line  laugh.gif
i also notice, its quite near the battery, and i spray silicon spray on my car battery occasionally, plus for the past a year, i lost the straw nozzle and i spray straight from bottle.

laugh.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif
last weekend i went to refill my spare tyre. was frustrated coz i mis-install it back twice and have to reinstall it again. bad design to need to unscrew and flip over to refill spare tyre.
the myvi in front of me refill his spare tyre with ease. i took it as an omen and refill mine too since i need to travel during CNY.

recommended pressure 420, mine dropped to 199  laugh.gif
and notice its tubeless tyre, from what i read, theoretically should have lesser possibility of tyre bursting in general than normal tyres with tube (what i concerned is more while pumping)
*
After pumping once at 420, I am confident the spare tyre won't burst.. Next time can pump with confidence.

Wanted to check with you.. Your radiator top fiber casing, is it still black or started to turn yellowish and now at what mileage?

I wanted to gauge and see other City and see how's their radiator top casing condition.

I've heard about this yellowing but seriously i have no idea what to look for.
generally speaking its black, losing it blackness i guess? its like our window black side panel, the black losing its blackness and getting greyer because of exposure to sun?
but since then i have been experimenting applying wax after finish washing my car to the panel, results are quite good. its returning to black.
sometimes i suka suka alternate with my UV protection spray that suppose to use in the car interior.

plus, now i also apply wax to my headlights and tail lights biggrin.gif

I'll take a closer look and report back these 2 days
still at 13xk km

When you are free, snap a photo of the top radiator casing and let me see..for comparison.

yeap. will do.

btw, how many litre of coolant needed to drain and fill?
*
Standby 4 bottles (4 litre). Drain and refill the radiator will around 3.4 litre.

If you want to replace also the coolant in reservoir tank, will need another 500 ml.

When i bought my coolant the honda shop guy buy 3bottle enough, if not enough then add water sweat.gif
*
Yes. I've tried using 3 bottles and it is not enough. You will still need to add a bit more water. Probably around 300ml. I've added in distilled water though, not tap water.

That's why I suggest you to buy 4 bottles. With that, you can replace the coolant in the reservoir tank too.

Mechanic will use sand and rocks. Put them inside and mix with water then goncang secukupnya until the inside is clean.

Then rinse with water to remove remaining sand and dirt.

On the wheel alignment issue. Is nut with camber recommended? The tyre shop told me my car Camber off 0.4deg.

How much he wants to charge you for the camber screw?

Rm95, on both front wheels.
I didn't take it. And he advised that the tyre will wear faster on the outer side.
So, let's see.
*
RM95 is confirm cut throat price.. If he is willing to sell it ar around RM20, then I would say it is reasonable.

Installing camber screw also has its disadvantage as the offset can run after awhile.. Unlike the original will always stay at a permanent offset since it can't be adjusted.

Also, worn ball joints, strut mount, tie rod, and other wheel suspension parts may contribute to camber misalignment.

My opinion, no need to change. Probably the 0.4 offset won't impact much on the tyre..

Change new local cheap 1..
Open 'test' seems not very balanced despite with balancing metal tab.
Will try later changing with the original 'blade' after properly wash clean.

The blower assembly only secure with 3 screws. 10mins job to changed

Can see the condition is a lot better than mine although mine has a bit lower mileage than yours.

Probably due to the fact that mine was always stuck in traffic jams.

Thanks for sharing the picture.
