QUOTE(coo|dude @ Oct 4 2018, 08:22 AM) Thanks - can this be done by my own self? Can you tell me where to change? And perhaps where to buy? I saw some online at Shopee. is this a good price? Price seems alright for a carbon filter. It's a very simple job. Can DIY. Youtube have many videos on how to change cabin air filter.

QUOTE(gameshock @ Oct 13 2018, 12:34 PM) Anyone city 2009 clocked 250k? I've seen City 2009 clocked in at 400k+ KM in Honda City FB Group. 250k - 350k can be easily achieved with proper maintenance.

QUOTE(cempedaklife @ Oct 18 2018, 11:40 AM) Hi, Anyone can advise me on this? I'm looking to replace all 4 absorbers. So the workshop has quoted me. I've already decided to get the absorbers on my own before going to the workshop to replace. Included in the quote are: 2x Front mounting 2x Front bush rubber (think this means lower arm bush?) 2x rear bush rubber My question are: 1. Rear does not have mounting? 2. Is the mounting looks like this? https://www.lazada.com.my/products/kayaba-f...15335.html?mp=33. Does the mounting fit even though I will be using different brand of absorbers from the mounting? 4. How does the front bush looks like is it this? https://www.lazada.com.my/products/kyb-tmot...64635.html?mp=35. How does the rear bush looks like? Can't seem to find online. My intention is to get every part myself, and ask the workshop to install. I am also going to replace my absorber this weekend at DTOX. They are having promotion to replace all 4 shocks + 2 front bushing at RM750 (all included). The brand they are using is KYB Excel G.

QUOTE(cempedaklife @ Oct 26 2018, 08:27 AM) Is the promo details available online? Though I'm pretty set with shokz. The thing is I wanna make sure I source all the parts outside before going to workshop. Thrust, previously I checked back old posts, are you the one that DIY change atf filter? You need to remove the engine filter box to reach the filter right? That looks like a tough job, at least for those not experienced It is quite easy to remove the air filter box provided you did not install a ultra racibg strut bar. I feel anyone can diy and replace the atf filter. its quite an easy job.

QUOTE(Bold III @ Oct 27 2018, 09:57 AM) Before sent for service i feel my car smooth as always..but as advice from forum member, i just request sc to check those items..base on all finding, i only change brake pad and door holder.. other item still ok confirm by honda sc foreman self.. Just want to ask, for fuel strainer when its frequency came, sc just service or replace it? They will replace the strainer but will reuse back the fuel pump and some other existing parts.

QUOTE(cempedaklife @ Nov 8 2018, 12:13 AM) Are those the only two bolts you need to remove the air filter box? What tool are you using? I think so. I seldom remove the box so can't really remember.

QUOTE(Bold III @ Nov 9 2018, 09:43 AM) [attachmentid=10099558] Yesterday i accidently hit road kerb when reverse parking, and this happened..the bitumen or rubber cover has peel off.. Is it will cause that part to rust? And is spray paint can rectify it? Sorry the picture is rotated 180 deg.. You can buy a can of car undercoating spray and use it to cover that part.

QUOTE(uncle08 @ Nov 20 2018, 09:33 PM) My 10k service on 12-DEC but end up less than 8k still. As I remember the warranty is "whichever come 1st". If I wait until my car mileage 10k only go service 10k would it had void my warranty? Yes it will.. It is 6 months or 10k, whichever comes first.

QUOTE(p_cock01 @ Nov 26 2018, 08:21 PM) so confirm brake master pump problem ya.so the symptom brake fluid come out from brake booster? Yes, It's the master brake cylinder failure. Not the brake booster. Better get it change fast or else your booster will fail too as the brake fluid will corrode the booster.

QUOTE(vult2res @ Nov 28 2018, 03:45 PM) I had my torque converter replaced. Claim warranty. The grinding noise was solved, however, there is new noise coming up. It is not the grinding noise but rather, "clunk" noise. I couldn't be bothered anymore. Just drive and pretend the sound doesn't exist. which year model?

QUOTE(coo|dude @ Dec 31 2018, 03:27 PM) Mine wasn't like that before. But this is now my secondary car and had been noticing it lately. Did you "fix" yours? If so, what and where did you fix it? Most likely your absorber are worn out. When was the last time you've replaced them?

QUOTE(coo|dude @ Jan 1 2019, 08:08 AM) Can you recommend where, what and how much you had changed it for? Thanks - mine was never changed from the beginning and my next service is near, so if there is a better absorber outside of Honda SC, I would very much be interested in it. Just change it outside. You may need to pay double the price if you change it at SC. You can opt for a few brands like KYB Excel G, or original honda absorber.
