If I remember correctly, a note written somewhere near bonnet or radiator cap. Coolant can last 200k km.
*
I think it is 200k or 5 years which ever comes first. Anyway replacing the coolant is cheap.

I used the absorber stabilizer link until I heard the noise, just changed recently
*
Yes, so far only the rubber is torn with grease leaking all over the bar. Stil not shaking and is solid.

Bought the parts already and will replace when the noise comes.

If you want to give a new breed of life to your car, I also suggest you to inspect all the rubber bushings at the control arms, stabilizer links, etc and engine mounting. Most likely some are torn.

Replacing them will give your car a more solid ride. Stiff rings and ultra racing bars won't do any good if bushings and mounting are worn out.

Previously i also replied regarding this issue..
At first its feel same as before, but now i feel the door holder is loosing.. how much for the repair or replacement?
*
No need to repair as long as your door handle can still open the door. Even if you replace it, after 3-4 years, the same thing will happen.

Thanks for your advice bro. For the past 8 years, i only follow the SC advice..only last year replaced front and rear absorber with mounting..

Should include in 200k km service request SC to check on those thing..
*
Most of the time, SC will not bother telling owners that these items are worn out as they have lots of other cars to work on.

Hey any of you replaced your aircond compressor before? how much does it cost roughly. I got quoted RM1.2k for an original compressor (RM800 if not original) is the price fair?
*
Price is right around there. Are you sure your compressor is fault. Best to get a 2nd opinion from another aircond shop.

They did top up the gas and it seems fine for now. I'll try and send it to a different shop. Thanks for the suggestion.
*
Your compressor is fine.. probably there is a leak in your aircond system. Normally the culprit is the cooling coil. After a month or 2, your aircond will stop working again due to gas leakage.

If its the cooling coil then it doesn't seems too expensive, thanks for the heads up. I'll try and send it over to a different shop and see what they say.
*
For the time being, just leave it until your aircond is not pumping out cold air.

As mechanic need to remove parts and test for leaks to identify the culprit.

just recently, i heard my friend said absorber can be serviced. (he's driving myvi).

my question is, is absorber serviceable in general, and if so, is city's stock absorber serviceable?
*
Probably your friend had changed to aftermarket serviceable shocks.

Better to buy new rather than service as City shocks absorbers aren't that expensive anyway.

You mean City ori shocks not expensive or aftermarket?
*
The ori shocks are not expensive.

You can also opt for OEM replacement like KYB..

Hi there, would like to ask, any users here using the same stock 15inch rims as in the picture above, just wondering can this rims fit in with 195/55R15 or 195/60R15?? Will it feel wobbling? Thanks alot
*
Better for you to go for the 185\60\15... 195\55\15 might be overkill for that RIM.

recently just cleaning my throttle body in workshop, mileage 106k.
feels the car more responsive, but at the same time rpm shot up quite high t(to 2k) while i start the car, but quickly move down.

the car seems to glide faster when put on D without stepping gas pedal also.

is this due to the cleaning, or could be due to the throttle body relearn?
*
Normal.. mine also will shoot up to 2k rpm everytime i clean the throttle body

anyone changed their brake fluid in outside workshop after the warranty ends?
i think i did change when its 2 years old in official sc and still under warranty.

now 7 years ady, thinking if should change. no issue with brake so far, changed brake pad for all for recently, and changed the 2 rear wheel bearing.
*
Most workshops out there can change brake fluid for you easily. Price is also not very expensive, should be less than RM100.

Yeah. It's not expensive. Just wondering if I need or should do it.

Its a preventive maintenance. If you've not change brake fluid all these while, then it is better to get them changed.

Guys, how do get rid of the smell coming out from the aircon ducts? I got my car internally cleaned and unfortunately it affected my aircon ducts and there's a nasty chemical smell in the first 30 seconds when I turned on my aircon..

Also, there is a small "hissing" sound whenever I turned on the aircon - is this an issue?

:-(
*
Change the cabin filter. A small hissing sound seems fine to me.
