anyone using raspberry pi 2 for Kodi? need some help setting up XBMCHUB.. in the configwizard, which system should i pick? LINUX?

thank you in advance.
*
dont install the XBMCHUB! Problem later when you try to run any addons. updating this from experience. just manually install whatever add-ons you like. they are plenty of tutorial in the net and youtube.

an example; https://seo-michael.co.uk/tag/xbmc/

Did you install the IPTV Stalker addon first before configuring the pvr client? Cuz it requires that addon to work. Also, if after restarting KODI, the TV menu doesn't populate properly with the EPG data as well, simply go back to the TV settings and disable and enable it again, exit and reopen KODI, it should now work. Happened to me as well and that resolved it.
Review: EPG is quite extensive and accurate however all the channels I tested (about 10 or 15) were of SD quality. Good for the tablet but large screen TV? meh.... Guess can't win all eh.
*
chief - how to make the EPG sync with the TV programs? I have changed the time zone to numerous country and still not sync properly. currently i'm using malaysia time zone... blush.gif

can give some advise here...OR is no way to sync the EPG since we are in Malaysia zone? hmm.gif

I'm unsure what you mean as I followed the steps on the website and everything works perfectly including EPG timing (current programme titles and upcoming programmes show up in the guide section, displayed as Malaysian time). Currently in Malaysia, time zone in android main settings also set to same. Running KODI 15.0 Beta2.

lucky you....I'm not getting this, always mis-match between the schedules and the TV shows. I'm running my KODI on my Raspberry Pi2.

I'm still searching for answer on the web, hopefully something will hit smile.gif

btw. YIFY HD has comeBACK....yahoooo rclxms.gif -->https://seo-michael.co.uk/how-to-manually-install-yify-movies-hd-for-xbmc/

I found the solution for this problem.

Its just the time not sync with our malaysian time.

what i did:-

Go to PVR IPTV Simple Client click on configure
then on the EPG settings tab change the EPG time shift to +8 hours
Enable the apply time shift to all channels
click ok

go back to settings>live tv general tab> reset EPG database
then go to EPG tab> reset EPG database
Restart Kodi.

u should get the correct sync on the time
*
aiyoooo....i just saw this thread! THANK YOU for posting your solution here rclxm9.gif . I'm getting headache searching for answer on this EPG and TV shows syncing. I have not tried yet and will definitely configure your solution today once I'm back home from work.

thanks again chief thumbup.gif

correct and I agree with members on this forum. I also started and learning using kodi on a cheap android device a year ago...sooner or later...your knowledge on KODI will be on a intermediate level icon_idea.gif

you will find especially the storage space is not enough and always get full very fast (I had 8GB storage space as well). I recently upgraded to Raspberry PI2 (solely for media centre/KODI) and it's running perfectly fine for me....after some tweaking here and there....a lot of lesson learned from here and youtube.

my 2cents fren.

You aware xbmctorrent works like torrent right ? where you can watch movie, porn and series while torrenting?  You have the option of playing better quality file whether its 720p / 1080p or bluray dtshdma/dd truehd or just simple Yify stereo, you can also have option whether to just stream or save the file. It's built-in with download accelarator that is faster than utorrent.

i mean way better than struggling to find hosting sites i.e movreel, Hugefile, 180upload then inputing capthca, and most of time fail from these streaming movie/series services i.e 1Channel, Mashup, dailyflix, icefilm etc. XBMCTorrent doesnt have all these shit.

Now i need your help to test whether rasberryPi ables to handle xbmctorrent.
*
https://seo-michael.co.uk/tutorial-how-to-i...corn-time-kodi/ - very similar like xbmctorrent. I install the repo as per the guide on my Rpi2 and it works like a charm thumbup.gif

No complains here...the downloading is also very fast brows.gif

Kodi Popcorn Time not really that similar

1. You cannot browse movie files you want to play (or keep) like you browse for torrent in some torr3nt sites
2. It only states SD or HD. which could be just stereo.
3. Does it require DNS?
4. Doesn't have porn.

KEK

Anyway please try install xbmc on RPi2

For kodi streaming Rpi2 better than android box?
*
both have +/- points. My first media after cancelling AssJeruk was via cheap Android box(installed kodi). Once already expert in KODI setup and configuration I upgraded to Rpi2. I'm using it for the past 6months and it never failed me thumbup.gif

Hi guys,

I am now in XBMC/KODI and just got to know how awesome this media streaming app is, I just installed KODI and is exploring. I have a question to get started.

What is the best / most popular Add-on that I should add now? I understand Mashup which used to be the No.1 is no longer around now.

istream, phoenix, Yify HD, RobinHood, Vdubt25 and many more...I always refer the following if i want to add any interesting addons;
