wat the hell!!
is inside or opposite  ikanto power centre??
by the way ,wat is "mod"?
can a normal xbox360 connect to the xbox live? or still have to upgrade something first??
*
1. cineleisure is opposite ikano power centre lah and beside the curve. all these 3 buildings are located neareby each other.

2. mod = modified

3. just plug in your network cable then done you are online with xbox live. every new purchase of 360, you'll get a free 1 month gold subscription.

hi guys ...
if wii price = 360 maybe getting 360 .. but i need to know something
did they fixed the heat prob with that console ? coz defeats the purpose i invest so much if there is still heat prob with the latest batch
*
Nothing had to be fixed bro, as long as you keep it in a cool and give it some space you need not worry about over heating errors, as for the wii price it should be slightly cheaper than the 360.

if i were you, i'd consider getting 360 Wifi Adapter. Works flawlessly if you have a distant router like mine.

I heard the 360 had some heat probs.

1. Do you actually need a room with air cond to be on the safe side whike paying the 360?

2. How many of you here put their 360 in no air cond room?

1. 360 doesnt need an aircond lah. just make sure you position your 360 with plenty ventilation moving around.

2. my gaming room only use ceiling fan.

Hmm, I'm planning to get a VGA cable so that I can hook up my 360 to my monitor, rather than playing on my supermini 14" TV. sweat.gif

It's available at any game shop right? The 3rd party ones I mean. I may have to get a VGA in adapter though, coz my monitor only has a VGA out. That one can get at any hardware shop right?

Heck maybe I'll just jump for the first party one. But money.. sweat.gif

dude if you only have VGA out from your monitor, then you can't play on it. It needs to be VGA IN in order to work

Sorry to burst your bubble but the vga cable won't help in this case

yeah, that's what I thought too, based on what I read from the first page. smile.gif

If I were to get a 3rd party one (RM50 and RM120) is alot of difference! would the adapter be easily found? If so, where can I find 'em? I don't want to be hunting high and low for the adapter.

Hopefully it's readily available in Summit, heading there in 2 weeks.

I bought the adapter for RM 10 at Lowyat Plaza. Don't remember the shop's name; IINM it's New Again (something like that). The shop is near Cycom & CZone.

I thought the price already mentioned at the FAQ ?

QUOTE
Official cable from Microsoft is selling for around RM 120 - RM 130. You can get third party cable for around RM 50, but if your monitor doesn't have VGA in port and/or your PC speaker doesn't have RCA in port, you'll have to buy separate adapters. Microsoft's official cable does include both adapters.

Most likely no; but you can try bargaining with the shop owner to get cheaper price. smile.gif
