Thanks guys for the input, require alot of thinking & planning (financially) to do this.

Thanks for sharing this info on Asia Miles, just when i thought redeeming MAS business class is so exciting laugh.gif

From my last booking, the YQ+taxes burst my budget, mainly due to 1 way KUL-LHR on MH. Good luck with it biggrin.gif

Maybank into car industry? tongue.gif

Lower income requirement made the premier card not so premier, and the AsiaMiles available seat is getting harder n harder to get cry.gif

It might be harder to redeem seats via AsiaMiles but I still prefer it over Enrich which is basically useless for me except the KUL-LHR route. You just have to book seats 11 months in advance and monitor & change dates as and when availability crops up.
*
I search n found out I can redeem up to 359 days advance. If later I change my travel date beyond it, is it possible?

For example, i redeem an award ticket on Nov'15, traveling start Dec'15, Feb'16, May'16 then Oct'16, then later when March or April, i change date for Oct'16 segment to Dec'16, is that possible? Given I already start using the award ticket for Dec'15 and Feb'16

Hi,

For TP point, is it only have a single TP account or separate account for principle and supplement card holder? I.e, if the supplement card was used, the earned TP point will collected into one single TP point collection under the principle card or otherwise? Many Thanks. smile.gif
*
TP is separated for each card issued, based on card number, however during redemption, u can combine them.

How much you pledge bro ? And how long duration ?
Is there any term & condition saying can't withdraw within 1 year or etc ?
*
You need to inform the bank 3 months in advance for the withdrawal.

I notice that VI get better rate across Asia while AR is better for Europe/US, based on previous experience.

i am looking at the LHDN website, stated there we can use mbb credit card to pay out taxes, but there is 0.8% surcharge.

what do you guys think, worth to pay tax using credit card?
*
U can pay with any credit card, not limited to MBB only.

Do take note that government bodies only gain 2x treat points if pay via AR.

Use other cards which can gain more than 0.8% then it's worth.

how soon the TreatPoint will be credited to our account?

i mean, if i make transaction today, says RM10k, how soon i can see the TP in my acc, because i want to redeem enrich miles before 13nov to get the additional 10%..
*
Example
Spending on Nov 10
Shown in M2U on Nov 11 (transaction must be posted, some online/oversea spending don't post in next day)
TP credit in by Nov 11 after 5pm normally, if it don't, check at night before 12
Call to CS once u seen the TP is in.

That's normally work for me.

other question though, does purchasing online with Infinite earns x5 points? Or its breakdown on whether its USD or MYR?
(eg; buying TGV online via infinite is 2x and buying amazon online is x5)
*
If the payment gateway / merchant is oversea, u will earn 5x TP, regardless you transact in foreign currency or MYR.

For your example, TGV = No, 2x only (it's based in Malaysia), Amazon = Yes 5x, and Agoda in MYR = Yes 5x, payment gateway in UK.

I thought it was unlimited access to PPL in Malaysia.

Priority Pass is used for all other airport lounges worldwide
*
Priority Pass all the times for 5 times access worldwide per calendar year
VI used to be unlimited access in Malaysia, benefit was revised from Sep 1 (if not mistaken) and limit to 5 times per calendar year too.

Continually spend 50k per month/ 600k per year
Maybank will invite you to get their Maybank diamanté VI

Even better than 2 card premier, if they dint sent you invitation you may call to ask, 600k annual spending is their diamanté invitation criteria.
*
from where we can see the diamante benefit?

The most high end card in most bank normally come with 2 path to apply, one is AUM with the bank, another is superb high spending individual.

As like diamanté card, you are right, private wealth customer with AUM 1mil USD will automatically get the card even he/she do not spend a single cent with any Maybank credit card before.

Another way is superb high spending individual, in this case, 600k annual spending is the criteria for this diamanté card even you do not qualify for the AUM part.

This is the same for the UOB RESERVE card, 2 mil SGD AUM or SGD 250k annual spending to qualify for the card.

Back to the diamanté card, status is not one of the benefit for this card as Maybank is not well known at most others country. The good point for this card is the 5X TP for local spending, and because this is a VISA card, is much wide acceptable than AMEX.
*
i have exceeded 600k spent for the past 12 months... let me try if they allow me to do so

Login to Maybank2u, then select M2U planner, from there you can check your spending pattern, see how much on AMEX and visa
*
I can only see past 3 months, do we able to view up to 1 year?

"Thank you for your enquiry. For your information, Maybank Diamante Visa Infinite card is extended to our Private Wealth customers on invitation basis."

Not eligible based on spending, regardless any amount.

Of course CX lounge, why would you want to go to Flight Club?
*
Flight Club posted photo in their facebook page, the food looks delicious.

CX lounge KLIA, I heard it's nothing special.

I'm gonna start the AM oneworld multi-carrier award flights coming weekend, it's time to do lounge hopping again rclxms.gif

These are really the best way to use our hard earned miles. Tremendous value, even if it takes the patience of a monk to explain things to the AM call-centre Filipinos on duty (most HUACA for me: 4 in a day).
*
my last redemption took me an hour more, despite I already have all flight number and seat availability checked.

Across all airlines, MH still the fussy one..
