i really wonder how low the price of the current G15 will go to once the new one is out.

if its real cheap i just might pick up one and void the warranty to turn it all black

although the carbon fibre sticker mod does look good........but naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh...

i need it to be properly black..black black black and black. (hence the reason i bought the reclusa)

if i get it ill most likely spray it...just not sure to go for the normal, shiny fingerprint-magnet black or flat black.

hhhhmmmmm...or perhaps use the black window tint...the tint might look good with that bluish silver background

actually ive always wanted the G15 la...long before the reclusa oso i wanted the G15. but the color damn turn off... to me black comes first...everything else later

and its too expensive to void the warranty to mod. so when the reclusa came out i grab it lor...it has the keys layout i wanted and its black...and i dont like the keys layout of the tarantula.

now that the new G15 coming out...im hoping the price of the current 1 will be reduced so that it wont be so painful to void the warranty.

the reclusa is fine for gaming la...im happy with it for gaming...but for typing or working...i cant use it...even the G15 oso i dont think i can use coz the tilt is damn low.

and when it comes to keyboards im EXTREMELY fussy.

plus...im also a logitech keyboard and mouse fanboy

if u searched u would realize that this question has been asked before a few pages back....

and my answer was.....

bleh......seriously the lycosa looks real good in the pictures man...really good..

but, although the lycosa may look nice in the pictures... but thats just pictures..not real life...

see see later turn out like the reclusa...looks wicked and sexy as hell in the pictures... but when real life looks like some chapalang RM50 keyboard

after that experience with the reclusa....ill reserve my judgement on the lycosa.

which shop??? the one like ALL IT one is it?? actually this shop can ask for discount wan....the price tag isnt the final price.

not sure which shop, but my colleague just bought the old G15 from one of the shops in Mid Valley IT centre for RM300.

the G15v1 has become a rarity now man...not many people selling it anymore and of course theres no more stocks due to the v2.

theres always the G11 :

??? no need RMA la... sell ur G15 to tomato and then go buy the new 1

its LCD not LED....

and yeah...thats the only difference between G11 and G15v1.

excellent...thanks man...i tried googling as well but couldnt find anything on the G11...nobody really gives a damn about it coz with jut a bit more money u get the G15

this is really good to know...coz im considering of getting a G11 for the office which will definitely see HEAVY usage on ALL the keys...and the macros are extremely useful for my work too.

now its just a matter of "to buy or not to buy"

definitely logitech....they make real good stuff...has been proven time and time again. and lets not forget theyre more durable than most other brands.


definitely the G15. features wise makes it a real bang for buck keyboard. plus its also good for typing.


if ur willing to take the chance of ur keyboard being changed to G15v2 then go ahead and RMA. coz theres a possibility of that happening seeing how the G15v1 is obsolete.

personally....id just do the sticker or spray.

theres a shop in mid valley it centre that has the saitek eclipse 1 n 2. price 2xx la. dunno exact.

i just tested the G15v2 and the lycosa just now.

tapping the keys and putting my ear right next to it. G15 is quieter. and the lycosa's rubber coated keys are ridiculous! u can feel the rubber layer is so thin. plus without the backlights on its hard to make out what key is what. god knows why they put rubber on the keys itself its gonna wear off man.

id go for the G15.

agree... wat kinda issues? i was using it before the G15 and i had no problems with it other than the fact that the damn keyboard doesnt come with a friggin mute button
