i dun have the media display in mine and i didnt even know about it lol... just found out that i actually do have the media display... just that the Foobar isnt in the list... and i use Foobar only.

anyway i still have my everest as my main screen... but with the plugin the screen will change for a short while during song changes to show what is the new song playing

anyway....the keyboard was stripped apart and only the old silver part was sprayed... can see the entire process HERE. same exact process by the same exact person.

err....u need to check g15 forums... theres an applet for MSN...but its a lil twist and turn here and there to get it up and running.... so i didnt bother...

i want something simple....so im gonna hang around til it comes out

actually theres a plugin for another IM software...forgot what its called...can read and reply on the G15 LCD itself....not sure if that plugin will work for MSN or not.

the blinking thingy with winamp is a plugin or script oso.....forgot the name already.

tun it upside down and shake shake shake shake....

then take a paint brush and brush the keys....in between etc etc etc....

then turn upside down and shake shake shake

before buying the reclusa i read a review which showed a mod on how to changed the LEDs.

so obviously they showed how to open up the reclusa as well.... i would recommend u try and find that review (i forgot where) and read up on it.


although shake shake shake is alot more fun with the right music playing in the background imho

u do realize that Logitech has more than one model of gaming keyboard and more than one model of gaming mouse right?

not necessarily true.... i have 2 G15s...1 in office and 1 at home...

the one in the office which i use for work and zero gaming... and i use the macros more for work than i do on the g15 at home for games.... actually my macros arent used for gaming at all man

i wonder u went for the lycosa in the first place??? compare that to the tarantula..i think the tarantula is a way better keyboard....

alot of keyboards has a limitation of max simultaneous keypress allowed. most of the time i see its 4....

though ive heard of keyboard being able to press 7 keys at a time...cant remember what they are though..




im using the G15 but i dunno how many keys can press at the same time coz i dont play o2jam etc....i mostly play FPS. so cant help on this one..

dude...just because YOUR keyboard can press 7 keys doesnt mean ALL keyboard can press 7 keys...

ive had multiple keyboards and some even has 4 limitations oso have to look at the combo....

eg.

UP + RIGHT + SPACE = OK
UP + LEFT + SPACE =

theres also a few other combos but this is the one i remember most.. coz playing NFS:MW wanna NOS and turn left cannot

dont think its a game bug..... ive tried 2 keyboards

dell USB kb...cannot nos n speed n turn left...but can nos n speed n turn right without problem....

old logitech media kb (PS2)... nos n speed n turn right no problem.........nos n speed n turn left oso no problem...

practically nowhere sells the V1 anymore man... unless u buy 2nd hand.

but if its the macro keys u want then can look for the G11. same as V1 but no LCD

or can always buy the Saitek Cyborg....but no LCD and dunno if its good or not

personally...id probably get the V2 ler... unless u require hell of alot of macros la.

u wish...most people here want the V1.....
