How much do supplements cost, just curious.

And what's the best tip to get mroe vitamin D from our blazing hot tropical sun, without turning self into roasted chicken.

i'm not sure about this though but i dont expect many people to have vitamin D deficiency in malaysia. maybe just 1%, those rare cases. maybe someone studying medical or working as a doctor can shed some light on this matter.

deficiency maybe not....but low probably.....i dont see any vitamin deficiency testing in most medical testing

I am practically indoors 100% of the time for days or weeks (I've hit months before). I'm very sure I don't have enough.

It's cheap. If you try to find one with 5000IU (don't exist in Malaysia) you'll be paying over 200 for sure.

Ada kot. I got it done at Pathlab in February 2012. Test is called "25-OH Vitamin D" and list price is RM250 (members enjoy 20% discount).

few minute in noon sun, not morning.....you can't get much uVB in the morning ....only start 10am till 2 or 3pm
