sweat.gif how am I going to feel if I want to send my m7 for battery and camera replacement? The service is still as bad as always? Usually how long it takes for a camera module and battery change? If the problem still persists, most likely they didn't swap the camera module for u...

I have 2 times experience with PJ HTC service center (*Not sure if they still doing servicing for M7 as previous forumer say they not servicing M7 anymore.)

1st time, warranty for purple camera issues and change motherboard, took almost 2 month to receive back my phone.

2nd time, battery replacement only and warranty over, send on morning 9~10am and able to collect at 3pm of the same day. So I believe is either battery replacement is easy or cause im paying so I have the priority.

My goodness? 8 months? My patience will run out by end of 1st month and someone will have to answer for it.
Madness la.

Virtue, help me find the top management emails. wanna carpet bomb them with emails.
Same here. 14% warning and then a minute or two, phone goes off.
K1do, that was me. Wanna try again calling. Actually after few calls to these service centres. I come to conclusion that HTC has no presence here at all. All go thru distributors which is spoiling the brand name.

I really want to email carpet bomb HTC upper management with these horror stories and let them see what has happened here. I suspect they might not know. Gonna use the phone until it is completely dependant on power bank and I will change to a phone that manufacturers that have presence here.

Need to start searching emails. Anyone can help out as well? Share it with me and I will email them.
Dude, after my 3 experiences with HTC phones. Sad to say service is getting from bad to worse and gone down to the drain! really it is bad.

Oh is you, so the PJ branch seriously not supporting HTC One M7 anymore? Kinda bullshit for one of their ex-flag ship phone sweat.gif sweat.gif and its like only 2 years?

Thanks man! and yeah it is GOLD!!!
That's what the lady said. Best thing is no one answers the call. Have to call up few times. Gonna try again ask tomorrow.
Sure ah? One try and if no one answers the emails, I can say for sure HTC is not even on my list of future potential phones anymore.

Did you try to contact HTC thru their customer service online chat at their website? Maybe they could provide a better answer.

I did before for my HTC One X. After no results, I went to the papers and I got 6 months (I think) of waived bills. hehehe

Complain maximum but that was because of the delivery of the phone was bad.

I do think we can bomb HTC main Facebook page instead of the Malaysia one. Its utterly useless HTC Malaysia page. Oh ya, havent email at all. Havent had the time to think creatively how to write the email.
Haha as the aboved crazeed said, its useless. 3rd party which falls deaf even before it reaches HTC.
How long you had your phone? Mine almost 2 years now and I believe it is also on our part while we charge the phone and use it still. If one of us has changed to a new battery, it could be different?
*
Recently i just started use back my HTC One, as my redmi note have to pass to my dad.

Currently on Android 5.0.2 but its custom rom with custom kernel (Viper one + Elemental X) did not Overclock or downclock. For my usage, basically just heavy whatsapp, some phone call, facebook, instagram and email can last 1 days +. If slightly less whatsapp during the day/totally not using only on stand by with facebook and email nortification, it can last 2 days +.

Hahaha! means better battery life with the custom rom ya. but I do know I abused my phone playing games while charging on a power bank and thats why its drains like crazy and battery is dying. sometimes even when warning for battery comes out, it will just shut down.

Hmm might be an option to try and root it but I love the Sense UI. havent search xda with custom rom that comes with it tho. Do you think there is any?
*
the one I using currently is with sense UI. Have a look at ViperOne. Basically you need to unlock and s-off to install custom rom. For latest ViperOne (Android 5.0.2) you will require to update your firmware too if yours is not android 5.0 firmware.

Very stable, no known bug so far as I use.

For the xda link thats the official place for discussion and find solution. If you haven unlock and S-Off can check out some guide in xda which teach you step by step to unlock and S-Off.

For those who've replaced battery at the service centre before, how long did it take? I don't want to go through hell again like the camera module fiasco. Hahaha.
*
Gotten back on same day, take roughly 4 hours but this is not warranty but pay to replace.

Wow. So you just walk in and replace? That's not bad turnaround time. Lol. How much did it cost?
*
Yup, i just walk in. around RM150 +- if im not wrong, include 3 month warranty on the battery. Btw, if you damn sure is battery problem just tell them is battery problem, last time the worker there keep tell me might be charging port/motherboard/etc etc. So, just insist is battery problem.

May I know which service center did you go to for this? Is it then one in Berjaya Times Square or Lowyat plaza? 4 hours seem very fast compared to their normal standard.
*
Their PJ branch previously. I think now already close down.

Oh. Then i wonder how long it's gonna take to change battery if I send to BTS branch hmm.gif Hope no longer than 2 days.
*
Are you sending for warranty? Or yours already finish warranty?

You can ask them when you send them, for mine they got 2 different story, the first worker was telling me not sure if is battery fault, need check then need to see if got spare parts, etc etc...then I just tell him, I know its battery problem and I gonna just pay for battery then he say ok, but not sure how long can be done. After that another worker beside ask me HTC one m7? and confirm only battery problem? If only change battery can come back in around 4 hours. In around 3 hours+ they call me to come collect d.

For my first time sending for warranty, I got shit service like others too, send for 1 months + everyday call to follow up till one morning Customer service told me I can go collect, when i reach there, the worker tell me not ready yet need few more days, I make noise on the spot and talked to their manager + the CS person that ask me come and collect, in the end they say next day for sure will ready, so i came back next day and able to collect. This gonna be my last HTC phone, especially their service center in PJ close down its much more troublesome for me to send to KL sweat.gif sweat.gif

Warranty finished dy. Will pay for battery since you said it is just rm150. But they open only in normal working hours, right? Not sure if I have the time lol. If weekend, can la.

I will stick to HTC, been using this brand since 2011 and I like the design a lot.
*
Yup, normal working hour. Last time in PJ, they open at 8.30am so when i OTW to work i drop by and pass to them as not alot people its quite fast. Dont think they open on weekend, you can call their CS to check see hmm.gif

I also been using since HTC Desire era, but the warranty really troublesome sweat.gif and not gonna get non-removable battery phone anymore, so troublesome to replace the battery sweat.gif

QUOTE(Warwick @ Jul 23 2015, 06:07 PM)
I finally send in my phone to LYN 4th Floor at a place called Total Outsource Management today. Let's see how long it will take. Anyhow, I've complained in HTC main FB and not at HTC Malaysia, next day got a call from HTC Customer Care. That was like 2 weeks ago. She told me stock not in and from there I started to grill her abit and apologies to her its not her fault and its the management. How can they NOT know how much it cost for the battery and unsure when is stock coming in? Don't they have a logistic company for it?

After the grill, she finally told me its RM129 for the battery and RM80 for diagnostic.

So yesterday I decided to call up the CS and guess what? CS told me he can't confirm if got stock and again the BBQ started again. He apologies and told me he will get back to me ASAP and he did follow up. Got a call today saying there is stock and I should bring it in for repair.

All these while, I have been messaging HTC fb and updating them. Let's see how it goes and prepare popcorn ya
*
Wow, HTC service really sweat.gif Anyway, why your repair so expensive, RM129 + RM80? I dont recall they charge me diagnostic fees that time. Hmm, if they got stock they cant do same day repair? hmm.gif except you are checking other faulty parts, if not I dont think it gonna take long to just change battery.
