First thing HTC staff will do is boot into fastboot mode : if it showed unlock or relock is a dead giveaway your phone is tampered n if you have installed a custom recovery TAMPERED will appear above the lock status

Waited for a month, finally gotten my hands on my phone again alhamdulillah. HTC said it was repaired on 31st March 2014. I got my phone delivered back to me on 4th April.

My camera module is ov ov4688 4M

Should i buy htc one now or wait?

If you have unlock through htcdev when you lock back in fastboot mode will show RELOCKED and not LOCKED as default
You need to do a SOFF n than proceed unlock n remove tampered flag...than you will have LOCKED n TAMPERED removed n than follow by switching it back to SOn - all these steps you can easily find at XDA
