To be fair, Young has cut down on his diving. Yeah couldn't agree more, I've stressed this many times, but Cleverly, Young and Valencia are just not United quality, and it becomes clear today with some of the attacking play with Fellaini, Januzaj and Mata filling in instead.

I think Shinji put in a good shift as well, the fluidity added between him, Mata and Rooney allowed for the third goal.

I think the situation is Cleverly is an ambassador for the club's youth system. Cause at the moment, only Welbeck and Januzaj are the more notable academy alumnis. It sends a message to the likes of Nick Powell, Jesse Lingard etc that there is hope in the United team, and also to replicate the philosophy of investing in youth.

On Young's situation, I can only assume that Moyes is giving him an entire probation season before letting him go. Giving him more game time can also mean a slightly higher transfer value.

The body language on RVP is a bit worrying, as soon as Welbeck came on the game changed completely. I'm hoping he will understand the period we're going in right now and continue to help the team till the end of the season. BTW congrats to Ole for winning that Fulham match.

RvP should understand that replacing SAF is a tough task.It took around 4-5 years for SAF to win his first title for United.
If RvP do leave United,maybe Rooney will play there upfront with Welbeck until his early 30s,and then be a Centre Midfielder?

The era when SAF took over was a bit different to Moyes right now, remember we were champion last season and winning it comfortably. Back then United were pretty much the underdog, not winning the title for quite a long time, liverpool and Everton were the major force during the 80's probably Leeds and Nottingham Forest was in the mix aswell.

Leaving that aside, I'm still having some doubt on Welbz , yes he's a great team player but he has a bit of tendency to overplay it sometimes.

if he fail to to get into the plane to Rio with Spanish squad, he'll be regret he's join us. i think that is his main objective. he already knew our position. the soonest we could win something are probably next season, where we still in 'transitional period'. there's about 10 top class AM in Spanish pools of players. almost all can classified as world class.

he could flourish with us in the future, but to get into starting XI of Spanish team (especially as AM) without representing Barca /Real Madrid is always tough nut to crack. see David Silva.

too early days to judge Mata's loyalty to us, but i think Man United are just his stepping stone, while doubling his salary. if better team come calling and we still at this current level, i think he'll be gone.
