With the latest firmware on the GT1, most of the issues have been fixed by Beelink...

if i'm using celcom first gold package 20+20GB, it is enough to support streaming from android tv box? mostly will watch tv at night and weekend only....

It's an ok box for normal watching... Kodi, ShowBox, Terrarium, Youtube, Iflix... I don't have those 4k or DTS files to test...    

Kodi hangs when quit like the GT1 before the firmware updates... Check no firmware updates yet...

any suggestion for a good streaming app for astro channels and also other chinese channels?

guys which of the following will you choose ?:

1. Nexbox A95c
2. Beelink GT1
3. Sunvell T95Z

All three also got 16gb and 2gb ram. Nexbox running S905 chip while Beelink and Sunvell running latest S912 chip. Price also about the same... Any advice the user experience ?

in what sense is the himedia more superior ? its more expensive as well

My 1st hands on impression coming from my old Minix 2gb ram/8gb emmc running 4.2.2.

-Apps launches very fast.
- Kodi video streaming is very smooth up to 1080p. No issues.
- Tested playing 4k short video on Kodi from  pendrive. Very slight lag. Audio n video is good. Did not notice any black banding.
- Much faster to go into n play those add on movies.
- Heat on the box is acceptable just warm after 6hrs.
-The Rii wireless keypad remote is surprisingly user friendly. Will need time to get use to it though.

With my  limited knowledge on Android box I can only say is really good for my daily use. Mostly on kodi with only 3 add ons and 2 additional apps install for now.
