Well, three ports are good enough for me. One is for the air mouse, the other one permanently for
the hardisk linked to Kodi.

The third one is for the flash drive when needed.

These days I just transfer files (usually APKs) from ES File Explorer, it saves me the hassle of copying from PC and pasting to thumb drive. laugh.gif Just using one for my Logitech K400r - keyboard+touch pad.

Both devices MUST be on the same network... Also, try registering for an Airdroid account, then add your device into it.. Should work then.
*
Yes, on the same network. Same network = same connection right? laugh.gif
Which device by the way? unsure.gif

By device, I meant your android box.

Got it. I will try again.

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Jan 16 2017, 04:57 PM)
Simplest way is to use samba.

Just need do the right settings at pc windows, put files in right folder, grant access for box.

Then, at box es file explorer, u can access it.

Google, windows instructions, steps quite clear.

If your box has native or installed media networking app, can do same.
*
Samba eh? I will Google more. biggrin.gif

By the way, I see you guys keep recommending Nvidia Shield? My boss is in the US now, is it that good? laugh.gif

the common name is samba.

windows call it network sharing.
nvidia shield.. good observation!

due to the cost, i count only 1 (ONE) user here.

it is a top of the range box for serious users incl gaming and hd audio.

and for those willing to pay for paid services like netflix and the like.

those lookinhg for free ahem axtroo will not buy it. laugh.gif
*
Alright, I will check it further.

Then, not suitable for me. sweat.gif

Tried on few apps and Kodi, the same. hmm.gif Anyone can advise me?

I'm guessing the PC speakers are connected to the box through the headset port? Try connecting the speakers to the TV's headset port instead (if it has one).. Then box via HDMI to the TV.
*
Yes, through headset AV port.
I don't think it has. hmm.gif
I'm using HDMI to my LED PC monitor with no speaker output. If TV, then no issue with audio output.

QUOTE(BOTAK_WAI @ Jan 17 2017, 06:54 AM)
most probably 3.5mm pin problem.

tv box 3.5mm output is left right audio plus video.

pc speaker 3.5mm connector is only left right audio.

so, it depends on the connector design. some works some not.

where got technical…

hdmi still connected between your tb box and monitor.

the analog cable is used to connect your tv box to your pc speaker, just the yellow connector tak de pakai since u already use hdmi for video.
*
Oh ya, I was puzzled a bit looking at yellow connector. laugh.gif
Will try tonight. Thanks for your explanation and help. notworthy.gif

btw…dual audio output mentioned above already outdated.

now ppl use bluetooth receiver.

old folk must update current trends laugh.gif

old generation prefer avr/amp

new generation prefer sound bar

i think newer a bit should favor omni direction wireless sound tower.

I tried my Xiaomi BT speaker yesterday, first time trying after bought for close to two years. Breaking sound. sweat.gif

Can try unplugged the wire from av jack from your PC sound card and plug into TV BOX...assuming PC sound card is what you're using, or from the headphones jack...

Yes, that was what I did and only one sided speaker has sound... sweat.gif

QUOTE(voncrane @ Jan 17 2017, 05:58 PM)
That's what I initially thought, until she mentioned having red & yellow connectors/ports behind the speakers.. Most PC speakers (if not all) have audio inputs as either headphone-type connectors or USB.. Perhaps both.
Nah.. No PC involved.. I believe it's just the android box, PC speakers and a PC monitor...
*
I do have laptop which I use mainly but will detach the monitor and speaker when I use Android box. laugh.gif

I was guessing her red/white...color coding for L/R speaker connector...

Anyway wait for her... No need to speculate more...
*
Yes, that's right.

QUOTE(BOTAK_WAI @ Jan 17 2017, 06:17 PM)
no la, the yellow connector is the cable 1.
yea, that red/white behind her speaker should be the output jack for the speaker, not input.

nowadays speaker design need so foolproof meh until using that kind of connector…hahahaha.
*
Yes, that is the design for my close to 6 years old old Edifier speaker...

Now we're cooking...

Your edifier 3.5 plug is audio only...tv box is audio & video...the connection spacing is different...that's why you get only one sided sound when you try...

You may need another part to get it working...

If you have a spare 3.5mm to RCA audio cable...you can get a female to female RCA coupler/connector...if not, get a female RCA to 3.5mm audio cable

Anyway let's confirm tonight

These are the photos and please bear with the quality. My LG V10 decided to die on me last week. doh.gif Now using a 3 years old phone to snap these while waiting for my OP3T.

you can just find "rca to 3.5mm" in lazada.

should be below rm10 including shipping, if more than that, better get a dac, lots of item will pop out for the search.

Thanks for the information. smile.gif Appreciate all the help given to me. At first I thought no hope already. laugh.gif
