On the phone...ftp & network is available for the free version...on the box need to go premium...

Setting/redeem accepts numeric only...lazy trying to go premium through visa payment/code since my visa not on file...

Anyway, its about same as AsusFM, extra being ftp & PC file transfer works in the background, and 30mb smaller which is nice.

yea, asus f.m is the king of file manager (free) now.

I see. I just know it's very rare.
Yes, it's pretty bloated. I'm a minimalist most of the time, looks like I will check out those apps suggested earlier and get rid of ES File Explorer. I just need one app that I can easily transfer files from mobile/PC to my box. biggrin.gif

So, there are 4GB boxes. laugh.gif

True, even I'm on 6GB RAM phone now, I still find it underutilized for my case. tongue.gif

i have used 512mb, 2gb, 3gb, 4gb android phones, i feel that 2gb ram is enough, but i always welcome bigger storage. the bigger the better laugh.gif

I like this very much too...about the same as AsusFM but much leaner...15mb vs 52mb(file commander) vs 85mb (AsusFM)...
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...tor.filemanager

Anyways you have 32mb storage...why worry laugh.gif

this looks good! thanks for sharing.

update: too bad it doesn't support ntfs

Guys, what's your processor's thermal reading? Mine fluctuates between 50 - 70 depending the usage. I thought that's pretty high and might harm the box in the long term. Though I understood the processors are built to withstand high temperature.

Nevertheless I modified a bit my H96 Pro Plus cooling system by replacing the rather small original heat sink with a bigger one.

Now the temperature fluctuate between 38 - 51 only  biggrin.gif

nice cooling mod.

mine even comes without heatsink. so i already modded it day 1 i got the box.

I able to locate those tv box with 4GB of RAM, but could not find any TV box with 6GB of RAM.  hmm.gif  hmm.gif  hmm.gif

4GB RAM with 32GB ROM
http://www.gearbest.com/tv-box/pp_141994.html
Amazon - http://a.co/eejqVIq or http://a.co/cyr5Of4

4GB RAM with 64GB ROM

oh, 1 box is windows based, not surprise.
another box is rockchip, kodi and spmc has dropped support on it.

if not mistaken, s905 and s905x is hard limited by 2GB ram and s912 is hard limited by 4GB ram.

i doubt those s905 box with 3GB ram will hav full 3072MB ram. plz enlighten me more about ram capacity vs chipset limitation.

I asked about the same thing too. laugh.gif

Anyway, special thanks to dwRK for lending me an USB DAC. I have finally got my speaker running well. biggrin.gif
*
android tv box will eventually become smart home entertainment hub, the increasing processing power and ram capacity will be inevitable. but for normal user who just use it for watching drama and live tv, 2GB ram enough la…of course no harm having more ram if one could afford it.

lol…finally use dac as we suggested early laugh.gif

for better dynamic range sound, remember do setting on kodi/spmc.
