any idea on how many degrees of temperature the brake pad able to withstand?

on the other hand, one of my friend warped his brake disc and believed its because of the stock brake pads.

mercury99 not much dust coming out from these stock pads compared to other vehicles.
*
No idea on the temperature, haven't Genting /track with inspira yet. However AFAIK akebono should be able to deal with minimum 300 to 400 Celsius no problem

Warped disc shouldn't be the pads problem as I don't believe the pads to be of hard compound (based on braking feel)
Hard compound pads would be something like the rapid bald pads sweat.gif

Lol maybe I'm too spoiled by the ebc on my iswara

They sure will let you wait if you buy CX-5. Actually they have more than enough stock to flood the market but they will still let you wait. This is their marketing strategy, to make it valuable. With this way, they no need to offer you a single cent of discount.

that 1 is welding defect.
as for that taiwan extractor, i would say it was a shoddy job/bad job, exterior looks nice, but internal.. haish...

the pipes are not well connected, the pipes are not properly welded to the header base...

maybe they use tac weld for inside, full weld outside
*
So I need to check and avoid it if look like the picture?
Exterior and inside look ok then I can buy? biggrin.gif

yup, check for the smoothness...

that taiwan extractor, the internal pipes are blocked by the pipes itself, seems that the fitter/welder didnt cut it properly.. doh.gif

My H&P loan integrated to my M2U account already, the % is 2.99 but they charged me extra rm28.
From the day I placed rm1000 booking fee, 1 trouble after another. When got a new SA, the bank refuse to release the LOU and I have to waste time and effort go to their branch to settle the problem. And they should released it ASAP but only next day late evening they did so.
SP I decided to cut short my loan repayment period. If I only spend 3 years to settle the loan, I'll should be paying for 3 years interest only, right?

I'll be addressing this problem during my first 1000km service. Now already clocked 880km. Mine is during cold start, the rpm not very stable for 2-3 minutes. Then when doing reverse, the rpm also maintain quite high at 1500-2000.
