Any njoi dealer at butterworth/penang area to intro??

I think this family lite is EOL, stop continue selling this package as astro does not earn profit much for this package.

Somemore, it is almost 90% same channel as njoi package.
I hv 2 astro account which is njoi one (refurnish one) n family lite (zapper decorder).

I get this family lite due to one of the astro agent announce for the limited lite package. And I get this family lite again as least astro got support for free change decorder or remote control (if there is any faulty in the future). For Njoi, astro kinda give shit selling refurnish set (recycle decorder) with warranty 1 yr for decorder. Once if there is any faulty, u nid to subscribe njoi package. No replacement allow for any single accessories.

Lite package was end of last year 2016.

i think there are a lot of evil dealers who are giving out refurbished decoder even you are paying for the brand new one.

and the accessories such as remote control spoiled very easily even with merely just few months of usage. and worst case is that there is no warranty for the remote control.

My one njoi decorder is refurnish set while family lite is zapper decorder.

There are always pro n cons between these 2 devices.
For refurnish decorder wat I experience:

1) Very user-friendly once ready (After boot show times), u can able to capture the CH with front display.

2) The bad thing sometimes this type of decorder easily hang, my one experience unable show menu display from TV until u restart the decorder again.

3) Difficulty to remove smart card as it insert too inside. If your fingernails long, u might difficulty to remove smartcard.


For zapper decorder
1) You cannot able to see the CH display from front panel decorder display. There is only green n red light only. The design of front panel kinda shit.

2) You don't know this zapper decorder ready, coz no boot word n show timing.

3) This zapper look like android tv box. The smartcard slot at the side which look appear so small like mini box. N it is easily remove smartcard even your finger nails is long.

That is only happen especially for njoi one.
We must report the evil dealers to astro careline seriously.
They will take further action against this dealers/technicials.

Remote control easily spoil especially u accidentially fail down from higher place.

Remote control still hv warranty (for astro, sorry for njoi cust) as long as it is faulty not by physical broken.

P.S, sometimes it is depend cust service person willing want to help u or not la..

yes, only njoi happened, becos njoi are not sell directly by astro itself, but via their dealers. u know one la, bolehland a lot of dealers are not honest. they dun follow the standard pricing for new and refurbished when they charge customers.

yes, the remote control (green) spoiled got damn easily, my parent house i installed for them the njoi, the remote control spoiled in less than months time.

in the end i pass them the free remote control for PVR one that I redeemed using 1000 points from my astro account during the promo period.

the PVR (black) is more solid, even my own remote control (PVR) one dropped many time also work like charm.

Astro Remote control can buy at electrical shop leh.
Saw at Mydin too.. Around rm10

Hi, wanna ask i have an astro decoder and dish given by my aunt but she has terminated her ASTRO and return the sim card already 2 years ago.

My question is am i still able to subscribe NJOI using her old decoder and dish ?

This kind type of decoder.. dunno able to convert to Njoi.. called their customer hotline but their general enquiry will auto hang up...

for the refurbish problem the ui dont hang. but the ui menu become too big sometimes that make the menu unvisible from the tv. so the solution just switch off the power supply.

Seems like old one..
Doubt can convert.

yup this type of decoder can convert to njoi but the charge are quite high. better consider to register new njoi.
