MNC's flagship FTA channels: RCTI, MNCTV, and GTV, will broadcast for the first time here. Meanwhile, most of these channels (especially prepaid ones), I suspect, will be in Indonesian feed with Indonesian dubbing/subtitles. I might subscribe to it soon, just for observation purposes. Also not to be confused between Hijrah TV (which is available free-to-air) and TV AlHijrah (which isn't).

Last but not least, welcome back Arirang, Motorvision, Outdoor Channel, and ZooMoo to Malaysia.

Some corrections as well:

- It's TV AlHijrah, not Hijrah TV
- It's NHK World Japan, not NHK World Premium
- No TV3, 8TV & Berita RTM
- No IMC – Indonesian Movie Channel
- No Motorvision & Fight Sports

...but they're assuring it will be more channels coming soon.

HITS NOW will soon continue to air on NJOI after Mar 31.

Did they revised the package for free users?
Was a subscriber many years before 2018, and now basic Chinese and many channels are gone (346 AEC, 321, 375 CCTV4)

So you’re saying that the SD counterparts of those channels are permanently gone?

Not surprised, it’s expected to cease anyway. Now all NJOI customers, old & new, are required to purchase HD Pack to continue watching AEC, CCTV-4, etc.



ICYMI, NJOI HD Pack now only offers 30-day access for RM15. 90-day, 120-day & 360-day options are no longer available.



Or you can get its newest pack, NJOI Family Pack for RM29.90/30 days. 43 channels in total as per below. CCM (SD Ch 321) is now only on this newest pack.

Free previews as well: Ch 396, 413, 414, 415 & 618 from now until Jan 31, 2024; and HITS NOW Ch 702 from Jan 10–Mar 31, 2024.



Astro Awani Ch 501 (HD) is now free to all NJOI users. Ch 531 is no more.

What you mean "gone"?
You see "This channel is not included in your subscription" message when tuning to those channels, or those channels you mentioned has literally disappear from the channel list?

RM259 option one is, does not include new satellite dish. Choose this if your parents house is either an apartment/condo that uses centralise dish antenna, or a landed house where previously already have an Astro dish installed.
If your parents house doesn't have any Astro dish, choose the RM314 option.

Price above excludes RM85 installation fee.

Not on HD Pack, since HITS NOW offers the first-run shows directly from the U.S. Likely it will be on Family Pack.

As for both HITS & HITS Movies, they offer all-time classics; suits enough to be on HD Pack.

SD Channels still available now, include Ch 531

NJOI em while it lasts.

Astro did this quietly without any official announcement

Assthrow reserves the rights to do whatever it wants.

Mine was on NJOI before. The moment I tuned in to Ch 125, 126, etc., it already stated that message; that means I’m an NJOI user after April 28, 2021. Not eligible to watch those SD channels, I have to get an HD Pack to watch the affected ones — in HD.

Unfortunately, for those using NJOI before April 28, 2021, expect those SD counterparts to cease anyway; Astro’s cut operational costs to maintain profitability.

FYI: April 28, 2021, was the refreshed content offerings of NJOI, including the introduction of HD Pack. Such mixed reviews were flooding in, especially TV AlHijrah Ch 114 which was once part of the HD Pack for a few days before Astro pulled the plug on the channel being free-to-air again.

They didn't send any notification to you, via SMS or email or anything?
Then have you tried contact customer service and ask what happen? What did they say?

Vaanavil 261 suddenly disappeared for me a few weeks back. Baru today I contacted CS via whatsapp. The told me Njoi channels/packs have been updated on 7 Jan 2024, and vaanavil sd no longer available. Only HD available, and have to purchase.

Been using njoi for close to 10 years now I think. Just my parents pakai to watch the news. Now can throw dalam longkang.

Astro AEC and CCTV4 also gone. Need to subscribe to Family pack only can watch. So Njoi basically only left with local tv channel.

Same here AEC is gone, mum complaining haha
