go and see him, and tell this directly to his face.." dude, you got so much potential, but you are changing too soon, too much and too fast, you must trust senior players at chelsea, and never play high line defending " laugh.gif

Look like his boot coming off, lol.

But great goal. Direct build-up and good movement on and off the ball. Clean finish

actually torres goal, from that position, he can shoot with left foot more comfortably, but seems like he's not confident and shoot with his right foot instead. thats why that twisted leg picture.

well any legs also can for me..as long as he scored..hahaha

if you notice that in the game there is one pass from Hazard if i'm not mistaken from the middle..pass thru to torres..in the hole..in the middle of two players..and he nearly scored that one..if the trident can replicate more of that passes..we will see a very effective torres..

hahaha well eto'o still a better overall striker..but if we look at Everton and Galatasaray game..the game with Torres as main striker look lively and more movement upfront..maybe Eto'o need a break for a while..

"burnout' phase now..

Yup... a through pass.... too bad Muslera save the shot... it was a limited angle shot cause two defenders are sandwiching Torres... but somehow he still gets the shot away

A Chance to Open Up the Gap on City

A wonderful opportunity exists over the next couple of weekends to put some serious daylight between ourselves and Manchester City, at the top of the Premier League table.

This weekend Manchester City are taking on Sunderland (Good luck Gus) in the Capital One Cup Final at Wembley, the following weekend Manchester City participate in an FA Cup quarter-final against Wigan, thereby giving Chelsea the opportunity to open up a 9 point gap between ourselves and them.

When pressed on the possibility of such a gap opening, Frank Lampard had this to say in the media,

"It`s up to us. It`s tight and that would be a nice gap."

"It`s crunch time where you have to develop a winning mentality that even if you play badly you win."

"We didn`t play particularly well against Everton but it was desire that got us over the line."

"Fulham are fighting for their lives. You have to be ruthless to get those results. It`s a local derby and them struggling might make it more difficult."

"It would be better if they were mid-table and cruising."

"But our run since December has been fantastic in the league; we have put ourselves right up in the race."

Indeed we have, some might say against all expectations, but, with the finishing post in sight, now is most definitely not the time to falter.

Yeah, I was just looking at the fixture for the next few weeks, it will be good if we win some games, as even Arsenal after playing tomorrow, won't be playing next week due to their FA Cup commitment. Hopefully by then we are 9 points away from City and at least 4-5 points away from Arsenal.

My wish, hopefully Liverpool can overtake them too in the recent weeks, that will put some pressure on them. The downside would be, we're playing Fulham and Spurs, both not easy team to beat considering our recent outings with them. Crossed all our fingers and toes, and march on for the best result!

A look at the top 4 upcoming fixture

Chelsea - Fulham (A), Spurs (H), Villa (A)
Arsenal - Stoke (A), Spurs (A), Chelsea (A)
City - Hull (A), Fulham (H), ManU (A)
Pools - Southampton (A), ManU (A), Cardiff (A)
