QUOTE(woonsc @ Jul 17 2014, 04:04 PM) Ooh okay for small ikan bilis like me who trade like...less than 100 lots, should be no problem today actually see more distribution...keep got ppl putting out at 1.40, got ppl grab if 1.40 sellers run out...maybe sellers will lower their asking price? perhaps we could see 1.39 at 4:45PM? QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Jul 17 2014, 03:58 PM) bro, dun understand that part i mean since liquidity is low most of the time, selling big chunks like 200k units can be a problem, unlike pavreit or sunreit which have heavy volumes everyday. only these few days we see bigger volumes. usually, very quiet 20, 50k done on a typical day.

Like I've said, if you've been holding and enjoying the divvies, IF u really need to sell to raise cash, just rugi 1 tick/1 sen and take the Buyer's price lor

QUOTE(smartly @ Jul 17 2014, 09:23 PM) buy before ex-date won't entitle you dividend one, you need to do more than that... May I know why you say I won't get the dividend if I buy before ex-date? Almost everyone replied said can get dividend, my interpretation is also same. I am not just aftering the dividend per se, just to make sure if I buy now I get the dividend to cover for the drop in share price after ex-date. I don't want to buy end up NO dividend then suffer price drop pulak. Really jialat like that...That's the reason...but I was confused and wasn't too sure..

TECHNICALLY - u will get the divvy as long as u buy before ex-date IN REALITY - buying before ex-date may not necessarily be profitable, as share price MAY OR MAY NOT fall after ex-date Hope it clarifies.
