here comes a competitor to popcorn time!

the arrival of ZONA, a russian app. zona and popcorn time will give xbmc a run, a nightmare for some others!

the pc version is excellent - movies, tv series, live russian and european tv, music, sports channels. in russian and english.

the android version is very washed down, very limited, only in russian. will need to wait for better future versions.

i can see more of such apps coming, complete with the whole works!

which one slow - niter tv, genesis or popcorn time?

try with all other devices off.

if other devices on, using say, 1/2 of 8mbps, u r left with 4mbps=500KBps.
that may be too slow for 1080p. 720p shud be ok.
moreover, streamyx may not be stable and max all the time...

a tip 4 u, if u havent tried...

go to popcorn time settings and turn on the free vpn. it may help.

about hanging, lagging, i just tried with beta 5.0. a 1080p mkv 4.7gb movie - it takes 650KBps or 5.2mbps to stream well.
beta 5.0 has a good new feature: the bar at the bottom shows how fast yr stream is; if below required, it will be displayed in red, green is good.
given that, it will take unifi10 or streamyx 8mpbs at excellent conditions to stream such a file well.
of course, 720p mp4 videos <1gb will require much less.

about vpn, check in mac version if u see a lock widget next to settings. it is there for windows. i find no difference but u can try.

i love popcorn!

MovieHD is working. u just need to install a new version. google to find it.

Malaysia takes on Denmark at 7pm tonight.

The final will be on 22 May 1pm.

Get them reliably and in HD at CCTV+5 and/or CCTV5.

The channels can be found in many "china live tv" apps.

Qualifier: commentary in Mandarin.



Euro 2016 starts on June 10, hope CCTV+5 will carry some matches.

MOBDRO has been around for a long time.

as the video quality was not so good, like 360p, i only use it from time to time, mainly for news.

there is a new version 2.0.38 with an improved video engine.

the quality is now more like 480p-576p, very watchable!

about the same quality as iflix and astrogo.

there are like a thousand live tv channels, mostly english, reliable.

news, sports, tv, movies... cnn, cnbc, skysports, nbcsn, tsn, bein, natgeo, amc, tlc, food network, etc.

this version has definitely better pic quality than previous ones.

but same nuisance - need to put up with 20 secs of ads from time to time.
