QUOTE(ReverseDark @ Aug 18 2014, 11:27 AM) Normal 780 would cap the voltage at 1.175, with afterburner voltage unlock would be 1.187, ussually it wont fry the card, because you are not messing with modded bios, giv it a shoot drag the voltage bar to the max, watch your vrm temp using EVGA Precision X, will it be the same? VRM temp, where do i check? GPU-Z doesnt show, any other software that monitors that?

Using afterburner i max the voltage to 109% then 1100/1602. This is what i get: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « How do i know my clock are stable???

Normally I see if 3dmark firestrike extreme no artifact/hang, loops unigine heaven and valley few times, no issue, and finally play a few games (graphic intensive) for a few hours no issue. ta-da, stable. maybe some others have other methods.

*edit: like the gpu-z showing stock clock boost are 1033, but actual boost clock in afterburner are 1071 This post has been edited by ReverseDark: Aug 19 2014, 11:04 PM

I predict R9 285 have unigine heaven score of 800+/- @1080p
haha can actually predict it by running the R9 290 at 620Mhz core and 685Mhz mem
it goes right between GTX 760 and R9 280X's score which I think is pretty spot on haha
I think the result is spot on because the 285 and 290 shares the same GPU architecture.
