The VIBEROM_V1.0_2407_2_ST_S650 come with S650 (AP) from satugadget, so I don't have the link. I just wonder if any of you guys manage to flash standard Malaysian ROM (ROW) to replace this VIBEROM_V1.0_2407_2_ST_S650. Thank you in advance.

Others could also share info coz I would like to know the ROM version you guys get from directd AP set.

I didnt buy frm directD instead got it from lowyatplaza(AP@rm480) last week..
guess this is the ROM Version--S650_ROW_S112_sjrom

1 question, izit me or the wifi signal is poor/low on this phone? any ori set holder can comment? wana know if its becoz of ap/ori difference or lenovo phones are all like that?tq

Wow, I can see that U got yourself an ROW version of ROM. Lucky U.

The WiFi is so damn poor compared to my Lenovo A850. Hell, even my old Xperia do better. Make me think twice about getting the newer S660, as the hardware is basically the same as S650, apart from the bigger battery.

Now I'm using S650_ROW_S113_131226_mod_by_javum

Tested the s650 in Lowyat Plaza.. Overall ok but front camera too low resolution. If u use front camera this is not the phone for you, but if you don't use it, the overall a good budget phone.

so the wifi is poor doesnt matter ori or ap set? any way to improve phone(not router) signal? does wifi apps/boosters really work?

Nope... if u flash it correctly...
The flash_tool.exe is very easy to use... u can complete ur flash within 5 mins...

was planning to get the S660 but the thickness and the GPU is holding me back.
the battery capacity of the S660 is what im attracted to.

does anyone knows where to get the 2700mAh battery for the S650.
i like to play shooting games like Frontline commando 2.

not sure which one of these 2 model can handle it.

Don't you EVER believe if someone selling you 2700mAh battery of the same size of the orginal 2000mAh. EVER!!!

Sun battery (among others) is one of those bogus claim battery, based on me and my friends personal experience.

Moral of the story, to be absolutely safe, stick with original battery.

Viberom got some chinese character here and there even after u switch to english. ROW don't.

As for the advice that you requested. I would say if you don't mind a slightly weaker wifi (compared to A850) then by all means, go for S650, because the phone is such a great phone for its price. No other phone (that I can think of right now) can even come close.

huh? how define slightly weaker wifi ?? like connection on and off problem?
i have this problem on htc

Not like that. It just not as strong (received signal) as it fatter cousin (A850).
